For those TRF’ers who reside in the posh part of the country there will be a Southern pre Cheltenham meet on Wednesday 5th March at around 7.30 pm.
The Lowlander in Drury Lane, Covent Garden is the fine looking venue suggested by Salselon. Its a Dutch/Belgian themed bar with excellent food and a lot of different beers.

If there are more than 10 definate attendees, we should book a table, so please let us know if you can be there (post on this topic).
Should be a good night!
February 8, 2008 at 19:58 #141367You have to book a table in a bar – WTF is going on over there?
February 8, 2008 at 20:01 #141368All being well I’ll be there.

February 8, 2008 at 20:51 #141383How about an Irish retaliation DB- I’m up for a night of debauchery and talking horses in one of the fleshpots of Dunboyne, Maynooth or Naas…..
February 8, 2008 at 21:09 #141387I will be going to either Fontwell for the Betfair Preview or Newbury for the WBRC night, that day.
But good luck to all who go.

February 8, 2008 at 22:24 #141418If you can get Thommo to attend, I am there.
February 8, 2008 at 22:27 #141420Sounds like good craic but the travelling may be a problem for me so I can only be counted as a possible at the moment.
February 8, 2008 at 22:31 #141421I’ll be there.
February 9, 2008 at 00:01 #141439Bluudy hell, Salselon, quite coincidentally that’s my favourite pub in London: good call!
I will be there, and I know of two or three others who are "probables".
February 9, 2008 at 12:37 #141570page 24 of today’s Post reveals that we will be competing with a "Cheltenham Preview Dinner" at the Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge.
Whereas that is a black-tie affair, I feel sure that the TRF dress code will be "anything goes"!
February 9, 2008 at 12:59 #141575I would like to come, if that’s OK. May not be for the whole evening, but certainly for a few hours after work.
It may be pre-Cheltenham, but it’s also pre the Lingfield Winter Derby. If I want to chat about that, will I get banished to sit in a different place, like in the toilet or somewhere.February 9, 2008 at 13:40 #141586It may be pre-Cheltenham, but it’s also pre the Lingfield Winter Derby. …then you will be among friends.

Well, me and Smithy (if he shows).
February 9, 2008 at 18:13 #141688Will probably be at Fontwell that afternoon so it will be on my way back – I should be there Simon.

It’ll be black, black and more black for me.
Just for a change, like.
