In the steward’s room but should keep the race. 2.10 coming up and Spring On hardening in the market. Had a hard race the last day, and has to step up on the performance here.
Will have to race alone as will likely not be taken on for the lead. All depends on the fitness of Milton Harris’ runner DELL ORO who is a class above of any of these runners.
SPRING ON does have a 26 length margin to fall back on (and my money)Well beaten and the penalty and top weight too much (as it often is) and gave two stone plus to the winner.

Charlie Appleby introduced a smart horse here last year after a good third at York behind lusail. Not quite the same class or prep as for this runner who began with a fourth at Nottingham.

Despite that I’m well on Liffeydale Dreamers side, carrying penalties against well treated unexposed opponents is often impossible.

This race does not look anywhere near as strong with several first timers in the field.
