I have gone for John Higgins @ 16-1. He is in the slightly easier bottom half and if he can get past Martin Gould in a tricky 1st round then he can go a long way. He has shown enough this season to show that he is still near his best form.

Have backed MARK ALLEN 40/1 and BARRY HAWKINS 16/1 cos they are in what I consider to be the easy half of the draw!!

Refreshing to see that O’Sullivan is not heading the market
and quite rightly so, still good but very average by his own standards

You’re always betting on Ronnie’s mindset imo. If he turns up in the right state of mind and plays to the best of his ability, he makes an absolute mockery of the 5/1. However equally if his head goes and he loses interest or whatever then he may as well be 500/1.

McLeod took Trump back to school and if he plays anywhere near that level he will have no trouble getting into Maguire’s head. 11-2 looks good to me.

Agreed, Maguire can be very temperamental at times, he still should win but at the odds is worth taking on.

I’ve gone 13-11 at 33’s
and 13-10 at 40’s
