    Is this the 2023 renewal?

I’d claim I was asking for a friend, but everyone knows I don’t have any friends.

I may very well agree – I shall look at the race conditions and weights and get back to you on it.

Hamish will win the 2023, 2024 and 2025 version so we can just roll this one thread over for three years
    Hamish also beat Hukum once…😮
    Lump on, certainty
    Downside could be prohibited odds

One day I will learn that Nathan always – but ALWAYS – has an answer….one day!

Absolutely LOVING the confidence, we’re not at home to Mr/Ms Sitting On The Fence in this neck of the woods.

    I will investigate further.

Hamish all day long for me too Nathan, but at my lower level of betting I’ll have to double him with City of Troy at Newmarket, at what would still be a skinny price for that bet

I haven’t hammered Hamish as yet but have had dribs and drags on him at 1/1

Hamish clear on ratings but has never won a group race on good or good to firm. Connections have tended to swerve that kind of ground since his 3 year old days. I wouldn’t consider backing him myself unless there was the word soft over here in the going description even if he still turns out the best.

At short odds, every factor needs scrutiny – fair comment from Mike.

There is rain forecast for Friday and Saturday in the York area
Its a sight concern but only if he gets pulled hence not lumped on just playing bits and pieces off winning bets

My first few selections have bombed on here, so I’d best not do an odds on job, but it’s surely very hard to see what beats Hamish in this

    Hamish 2/5 on now
still a good price. Should be 1/10

The clear 2nd fav Tashkhan is 0/4 at the course… 1/4 distance… 0/6 class of race

Breaking News: “In an unexpected development it was revealed last night that Nathan Hughes was appointed Governor Of The Bank Of England earlier in the week. Mr Hughes’s first order of business was to stake all reserves on Hamish at York this afternoon. If the horse wins, everyone in the public sector can have any pay rise they like and free school milk will once more be available. If Hamish gets beat the entire UK population will be put up for auction as human slaves on e-bay. ITV Racing are anticipating above-average viewing figures for the contest. Mr Hughes was unavailable for comment last night, but his answering machine just had the following brief message: “How far the good Hamish??!! How far??!! How far??!! Weighed in!! Weighed in!!”
