    Source?

Given the distinct lack of transparency and documentation when it comes to the overproduction of racehorses and the "auction spiral", I wouldn’t be surprised if some parts of those burgers once graced UK racecourses and studs.

Indeed, it’s fairly standard practice in France and America if I’m not mistaken.

    Thank you.

Of course, I didn’t assume that’s what you were implying. Racehorse meat is my theory.

I hope it isn’t so but my pragmatic instincts are telling me that the theory isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.

If you’re asking about it being wrong or sick to eat horse meat, I’d just say that as a vegetarian, it would be something that conflicts with my own personal moral standards.

You back a 40 handicapper at Lingfield and it trails in miles behind and next thing you know you are chomping away on him at the summer barbecue

Why are horses sacrosanct in comparison to Cows / Sheep / Pigs?

Why are horses sacrosanct in comparison to Cows / Sheep / Pigs?

Am certainly not against those eating horse meat if they want to, as long as everyone knows what they’re eating. Might even try it myself one day. However, horses have brittle legs compared to cows, sheep and pigs. Plus, are inclined to kick out when transported in numbers in farm lorries. Horses should be transported to the nearest slaughterhouse, not abroad and given regular stops.

Went to Tesco’s cafe today. The girl asked if I’d like anything on my burger. I said go on then, a tenner each way.

One customer reported that his Tesco burger had a peculiar flavour and concluded it might be Beef Or Salmon ;)

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
