Difficult to test this as can’t find any stats on what odds Favourites go down to in running before losing.and this really is a daft idea and early stages, but from what seen maybe worth looking into more..????
So last few days been setting favourites to LAY at 2.0 so they close in running, or not. Been staking £2.00 on most races and found made £10 profit first day , second day more favourites won and not a lot took the 2.0 bet, therefore making only £2 profit, however still profit.

Will see how it pans out, maybe a case that a lot of horses, say in 5 furlong sprints close at 2.0 in which case could guarantee profit though i guess setting them all to close at 2 won’t work as would need more than 2 horses to take that. will see how it goes

    Good luck with this KS.

Betfair do publish how low a horse went in-running in their Results Section HERE

Oh, the link didn’t go to the right page you may need to click on the ‘Results Tab’ and then choose the date and race.
