Hi Nathan….
Just home from Newmarket and good news and bad news. The bad news is of course that Tabarrak did not run his race today he was beaten as they met the uphill finish and although he looked fine in the paddock he wasn’t impressive going to post with his head down,just not himself today :The winner very impressive from his run at Royal Ascot and was on their tails all the way..an impressive run from Sir Dancealot.

Good news is that Vitamin looked amazing in the paddock..oh how I wish I had taken the chance and napped her like Krypton ..I just wanted to see how she had faired since her Guineas run and a below par run at Chelmsford last time out. Well she knocked your eye out in the paddock and had grown into her frame nicely and back on her favourite track she duly obliged and saved the day..got 7/1 and Hayley gave her a brilliant ride
Well done to The Krypton Factor for napping her.

My other winner was in the first Royal Intervention owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber I did herself and So Brave as they both stood out in the pre parade along with Strings Of Life.
Royal Intervention led all the way and when challenged found more..she is very good and has gained her black type on winning just the second race of her career.

A brilliant day and although I didnt put up any winners here I found a couple where it matters and learnt a lot from what was a very quiet day at Newmarket people wise. July Cup Meeting meeting in two weeks going Friday and Saturday

0 points for me today and I’m getting stuffed in the daylight cup as well, need a miracle next week to progress
Glad you had a good day at Newmarket, so many different clues on hand seeing the horses up close around the paddock and going to post
Myself and Alex have been watching the football but whenever someone pops in to see us he runs upstairs. I ask him why and he said he didn’t want anyone to see him watching the football as it would ruin his reputation….

Oh you made me laugh about Alex and the footy, he’s certainly growing up fast.
so many men seeking out their mobiles during the racing today to update on the results and for the next three weeks racecourses are starting at least one hour earlier taking a chance that England will still be in the World Cup…now that is a leap of faith
