Espresso Milan went out like a light at Cheltenham as well.
I suppose the ground is perfect for Fact To File today.
April 29, 2026 at 18:00 #1765252I hope the Cheltenham clerk sends him a congratulatory email if FTF wins …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:12 #1765255By far the best NH horse on the planet.
April 29, 2026 at 18:13 #1765256Emphatically the best chaser – when he got him to settle early on you knew it was game over.
April 29, 2026 at 18:13 #1765257on the bridle by a fence
Like I said all season this horse is in his primeGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:14 #1765258He’s quite good, isn’t he?
April 29, 2026 at 18:15 #1765259He is Hughsie , 2nd best horse in the yard mind

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:15 #1765261Different class of horse. Willie took far too long stepping him up in trip. He would’ve won the Gold Cup last season also.
Iknowthewayurthinkin has to be up there with Lord Windermere as one of the worst Gold Cup winners in recent memory.
April 29, 2026 at 18:17 #1765262That’s harsh , he put Galopin in his place that day , got to part of me is happy FTF didn’t win on that ground …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:17 #1765263HDLG he beat him too at a distance favoured to IL Etait Temps..

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:19 #1765264Should’ve won the King George also. Townend was far too conservative on him that day.
Far and away, the star of the sport currently.
HDLG, you know this is the star but just too stubborn to admit it as you were this horses biggest critic for years.
April 29, 2026 at 18:20 #1765265Like I said all season this horse is in his prime
Even more exciting to have Sparkling Wit in the yard, too.
HDLG, you know this is the star but just too stubborn to admit it as you were this horses biggest critic for years.
April 29, 2026 at 18:20 #1765266It won’t happen but GW against IET in the John Durkan would be a blockbuster of all blockbusters.
April 29, 2026 at 18:21 #1765267Got to remember Gaelic got beat twice this year , IET has pissed up all year bar that day he fell ( he was beat at the time but something was the amiss that day ) he’s my horse of the year ( with a antepost ticket with 33s he has to be )
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

Willie ran Galopin into the ground his whole career. He’d have won the Gold Cup had he been kept fresher. He was also badly hampered at one point in the race.
Iknowthewayurthinkin might have been good on the day but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a poor winner as he’s done feck all since to back it up and still in his prime at 8yo.
April 29, 2026 at 18:25 #1765269Guys I think IET is the best nh horse in training just now, it’s nothing to do with Gaelic , he was impressive in the GC and today but I just prefer IET
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 29, 2026 at 18:25 #1765270He’d destroy Il Etait Temps in the Durkan if going flat to the boards like last time.
When Il Etait Temps beat Gaelic Warrior at Punchestown a couple of seasons ago, I was fuming with Paul for not kicking earlier. He waited for the grey to get back into the race and then got out sprinted. The race should’ve been over with 2 to go.
