    And we’re all left wondering what would have happened if Poker de Sivola hadn’t been brought down early on. Good to see Gone to Lunch enjoying himself early on.

    disagree, not his finest hour all round, could have gone for home sooner to boot

    To my eye he jumped right all the way around the last circuit. From a jockey’s point of view he had to allow for that and I think he got as close as he could have done.

    That ATR ante-post tipster, Garry Nutting is really something. I’m sure he’s tipped four or five winners virtually in succession, some at big prices.

    Beshabar today, and a 33/1 shot when he tipped it, last week. But some others before that.

    Can’t see how Chicago Grey doesn’t get placed, think he is an each way bet to nothing at 5/1. Would take Beshabar and Chicago Grey against the field.

    Actually had a mini lump for me, and paid off, sore head this morning after a great ride from Dickie!
