With Vtc on Brandt, taken 20’s for 7 places (25 best elsewhere). Was stepped up to 3m4f last time, a tidy victory after a consistent spell, maybe this trip ekes out even more. Maybe.
April 11, 2025 at 22:17 #1726938Tried my hardest to stick to just one here, but buckled and bet Dom of Mary, who I think is a bit overpriced
Very narrow defeat when defending his title in The Sussex National, and his run in The Kim Muir has been overlooked a little too. Thought that was decent.
Although his best form is on softer, he’s ran regularly on this surface too, and I’m always happy to have Caoilin Quinn on side.
Taken 6’s places just now, and will hopefully get similar odds to the seven tomorrow.
Dom of Mary 66’s EW 6Pls
April 12, 2025 at 08:40 #1726966Ended up with my personal favourite Surrey Quest, the unexposed Olympic Man and Magna Sam who looked back to his best when winning the Edinburgh National.
Olympic Maan 9/1
Surrey Quest 12/1
Magna Sam 25/1 EWApril 12, 2025 at 11:28 #1727000Added Brandt 28s ew 5 places.
April 12, 2025 at 12:21 #1727011Oh I do like Brandt Cecil, but I missed the price. Where is he 28-1, I’d have a bit of that please

I’ve taken two others though, and both are to win. I like Flash De Touzaine at 25-1 win, and Our Power 40-1 ew
April 12, 2025 at 12:27 #1727016Do Macdermott’s form figures in the current season spell out the horse’s chances today? – P0UP
April 12, 2025 at 12:41 #1727022The Kniphand 9-1
The more I know the less I understand.

At 18-1 ew 6pl I’m willing to find out. I don’t think he’s been trying a yard this year.
April 12, 2025 at 13:23 #1727033I’ve taken The Kniphand at 12-1 and Klarc Kent at 25-1
April 12, 2025 at 13:58 #1727042Just taking a stab in the dark at Dan Skelton’s two runners…
Sail Away 14/1 – EW
Snipe – 25/1 EWGood luck
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 12, 2025 at 14:00 #1727044Really hope Me Incredible starts and shows something today , betting wise Klarc Kent gave me a nice e.w last year , he’s the main play , MacDermott has shown zilch this year but course form is a plus so he’s been tickled , leaving the Mullins horses Famous Bridge looks solid if handling the ground , no stamina issues so he’s the 3rd play , did anyone see yesterday that racing was delayed at Ayr due to someone taking ill in the stand , sadly it was one of my late dad’s best friends , sadly Clarence didn’t make it , he was there to see a horse he had a share in , at least he died doing something he enjoyed , rip

Our Power 33/1 EW
Famous Bridge 12/1 WINApril 12, 2025 at 15:33 #1727099Unusual for Paul Nicholls not to have a runner in this. Harry Cobden rides Captain Cody instead. Why is Jody Townend not on him? She succeeded where her brother, Danny Mullins and Michael O’Sullivan failed and has been in the saddle for each of his 3 wins. She’s been left at home with one ride on the 2nd fav in the bumper at Bellewstown. A pity she doesn’t get given any chances over fences except in the likes for those “Nationals” for “laydeees” and the odd chase ride for her dad
April 12, 2025 at 15:46 #1727100Get in!
April 12, 2025 at 15:48 #1727101WD Mike

Klarc Kent was a biggie for me at 66s. Pick up with each way, though.
April 12, 2025 at 15:49 #1727103….. Feckin gutted
April 12, 2025 at 15:49 #1727104WD Mike, and everyone with the ew money on Klarc Kent. Hard luck anyone on Spanish Harlem, going well when carried out.
