I think it may be closer than some commentators are saying but it is still difficult to bet against a USA win.
I was going to say home advantage is huge – but the women showed in the Solheim Cup that an away win is possible.
Hope for Harrington that Lowry wins a few points. Otherwise he will be criticised for using one of his picks on a friend.
Darren where did you get 8/13? Think the US will win this easily; Lowry will be OK, but Westwood, Poults, Weisberger, Hatton and Fitzpatrick will struggle. Hope I’m wrong
A few days ago power were 4/7 but online could boost the price so I got the boosted price at there website
To be realistic I think the US will absolutely muller us!!
But I can’t back them outright at that short a price so have gone for some correct scores
17/11 20/1 17.5/10.5 18/1 and 18/10 20/1I also backed JT and Cantlay to be top US scorer at 6/1 and 15/2 because you have t have someone that is going to play at least four times and probably all five.
On the Europe front I am on Fleetwood and Lowry to be top points scorers at 8/1 and 11/1 and have backed Jt at 11/1 to be top overall scorer.Good Luck Europe but I think they have little chance
Agree Westwood could be a weak link. His last appearance was not great and he does not seem in the same form now as he was at the start of the year.
Weisberger could go either way. Some rookies have really risen to the occasion before.

Surprised Stricker did not pair up Koepka and DeChambeau.
At least Harrington has left McIlroy out of the foursomes. But decided to once again leave Fleetwood sitting on his backside. While playing Westwood and Fitzpatrick instead, despite neither convincing with the putter.
Just hope he does not leave Garcia out in the afternoon again. An inexplicable decision after he helped to win the only point in the foursomes.
I doubt either Koepka or Berger will win the Nicklaus-Jacklin award after their behaviour, disputing the decision of two referees.
And then Koepka rips it into the middle of the green anyway!

Singles draw. Harrington thinks it is a good idea to put McIlroy out in Match 1, despite him having a dismal tournament. It had to be either Rahm or Lowry. Maybe he is already resigned to defeat.
