    Allaho runs again on Sunday

He needs to win and win well to get his ryanair hopes back on track

W Mullins talks about ‘going back in trip’ and ‘changing tactics’ in his preview. So expect him to do what he should be doing. Bowling along.

Ruby Walsh put Allaho up each way for the Ryanair on the Road to Cheltenham on RTV. Very surprised given his attachment to Min.

Agree with HDLG. He is one of those horses who just never seems to convince and I cannot see him out battling anything up the hill.

I’m a big Dashel Drasher fan, but even I’ve been surprised with him today. Excellent performance, and no surprise to see him cut for this.

I’ll consider him later, but I can’t really justify any more in this. I’ve only got four, what I would consider, decent sized Anteposts for Cheltenham this year, and unfortunately one of them was Frodon here.

I’ve one last chance to tidy it up, and that’s from Annamix tomorrow. I’d love him to win at Thurles tomorrow, as I’d surely be able to green out then. Seems unlikely though, as I can’t see him winning tomorrow at all. He just doesn’t seem good enough.

Happy to be wrong though. If he did win tomorrow, I’d add Dashel, but I won’t hold my breath.

More like it from Allaho. Better trip, better tactics.

True but I’m still not sure. Happiest in front but will he be able to lead the Ryanair around, not make too many mistakes lolloping down the hill on a long stride then have the toe to get away from them up the hill? Starting to think skipping Cheltenham and going for the flat left handed 3 at Aintree would be better though probably not going to happen.

Allaho bowling along, with Melon (if he runs) and Min just in behind is a possible. How it pans out on the day we will wait and see. An Allaho or Min win will do.

There are loads of prominent runners in the race

I will likely add a horse that will be ridden with more patience to my allaho bet

He won a race today beating a horse 3 lengths not even rated in the 150,s , he’s failed in grade 1 previously , I’ll surprised if he wins this

What about the mid 155 horses left over 80 lengths behind? The 2nd could turn out to be a very good mare, she was well backed into 2nd favouritism today despite having something to find on ratings beforehand.

HDLG, it’s ok for you to be against a horse, but at least use better reasoning than Leopardstown for it. It was a race for 3m + horses. He’s now going for a 2 1/2 race and being ridden prominent. Big difference and something he’s looked like he’d want for some time.

He’s beating a 147 mare (after 2 chases)…so the form has some substance, she’s clearly progressive over fences and probably in with a very good chance in the Mares Chase.

I do think it would’ve been nice to see some of the ones in behind actually finish their races better.

The samcro/battleoverdoyen formline from the start of the season is looking worse and worse

Jack I’ve given reasoning , 3 in 11 win rate is fact , he,s been beaten a number of times in grade 1 is fact , if you want to back him go ahead but I see no value in him that’s why I say lay not play

At current prices he is no value at all

Ruby put him up on road to Cheltenham last week which caused a big dip in his price

Then his win today did the same

Couldn’t advise anyone back him at the prices

I’m happier with my antepost bet though, the slip won’t be going in the bin yet
