This could (Should) be one of the games of the tournament with the attacking football both play i can sense a great game and i expect Russia to be a lot closer than the 1st meeting between the 2, since arshaven has came back into team Russia have looked a different team!!
it’s a very hard one to call although i have a very small bet on Spain winning the Comp i wont be to dissapointed if Russia win as long as its a good game, and one of them beats Ze Germans in the final!!!June 26, 2008 at 12:50 #170189Should be a craker, Bat.
One would hope plenty of goals and exciting flair.
Irony is, it would have been easy to think last night Ger V Tur would be dull, so….

i thinked thats what stummped the Germans in the 1st half last night, they were set up in a way expecting the Turks to be defensive and they soon found out not the case and if the Turks had their full squad could have been a lot different, hats of to their manager fhati(spelling) for spot on tactics….
but you could be right expecting a great game and get a bore 0-0
June 26, 2008 at 19:35 #170254Hope you’re right Batman and that tonight’s game will live up to expectations.
Won’t have any financial interest myself, but consider the current Betfair odds of 11/1 (10/1 inc. stake) for a 0 – 0 a little miserly. Don’t study this market much, but at around 14/1 (is that realistic for a 0-0 ?) would have been tempted to buy and then sell early on into the game.June 26, 2008 at 19:41 #170255Russia to go through and beat Germany in the final.
June 26, 2008 at 19:51 #170258A Germany v Russia final would mean we’d get the two best national anthems.

Spain to win the Final now
June 27, 2008 at 10:27 #170322The form was there for all to see.
Spain had already beaten the (albeit, improving) Russian side 4 – 1 in the group stages.
I thought the Russians were too cautious and nervy in the early stages ; a fact which the Spanish cottoned onto quickly and duly went onto boss the game, and won comfortably in the end.
The Germans will prove an altogether tougher and more resolute opposition in the final.
