Are they scratching around for pundits and even have to plunder this place for some recruits?

    Hello,

JTS should be levered out of the Glasgow Fleshpots and put before the camera
He would do a grand job, a lot better than some of the wafflers we have now.. :)

    regards,

    doyley

Should we have a spread on his performance?

    How many TRF plugs ?

    How many winners?

I won’t be able to watch much as there is some great sport on TV this evening!

Hope we don’t hear any more about the Dutchman. He’s already put the boot into the pace bias crowd!

I’m not sure a right handed A/W surface would have been his cup o’tea

    RUK

Bloody hell, i’d rather watch some dodgy digital channel talking about UK Crime in 1978 than watch this over priced racing channel. In fact i’d rather spend the 10p on the Racing Post website to watch the race highlights, at least it cuts out the oh so dull presenters.

Nick Luck: I see that I’ve got to present some filth from the Kempton sandpit of shame tonight

Producer: Genius idea of the lizards to get this crap green lighted by inventing a track that doesn’t exist, doctoring some photos of a building site to make people think there might be something to it, tendering for some BAGS meetings to be held there and then having to ‘transfer’ them to Kempton

    Nick Luck: who’s my co-presenter?

    Producer: Couldn’t get anyone

Nick Luck: There must be someone. I can’t spend 3 hours on my own, conducting interviews with the course manager that would make Comical Ali blush about how popular Kempton is on these evenings and bigging up the place – never mind the yaks feel the lake fret……..

Producer: Sorry, even no good boyo didn’t fancy the gig. Something about the matchsticks snapping in his eyes last time.

Nick Luck: Christ, not even no good boyo! Looks like we’ve got no choice – I’m not doing this on my own!

Producer (shrugs): OK, I’ll give Rowlands a call……..

Up to your normal standard Glenn. Pity some people can’t see what flies over their heads.

carvillshill, the lad did do well under the circumstances.

PS Maybe it’s just as well they can’t see it

Thought Simon Rowlands did well despite the dire racing, would have liked to see Luck question Clifford about the continual pathetic prize money and racing at Kempton when he interviewed him. Some good discussions between races about the weekends big races, superficial stats (hate them) and the jockeys championship where he exactly echoed my thoughts about some of the tripe being written about having a different method for deciding the champ.

It’s not the first time Mr Rowlands has been on there and he presents a comforting and modestly cheerful aspect. He is also able to tip a winner or two – unusual for a pundit.

One query I have is that, when asked his opinion on whether Zambesi Sun can reverse form with Soldier of Fortune in the Arc, he said something contradictory like "he can, but he won’t."
If he can, then why won’t he? A touch nonsensical and I hope he can explain if he gets the time.

p.s. he does have nice eyes [sorry Simon, so awfully shallow]

Makes sense to me Ugly Mare, it is entirely possible he could reverse the form but in Simon’s opinion he wont :D

If I may say so Prufrock, well done. IMHO it is a refreshing change to have a TV pundit who can actually read a race as opposed to reading the RP and the betting shows.
Be great if the RP could employ you to put some reality into their race analyses.
