Following the worthwhile article of the supreme bravado surrounding the Detriero punt in the first episode, this is going downhill very fast.
Day two was interesting enough hearing the details of the Curley sting with Yellow Sam, albeit with a ‘controversial’ approach but the RP have lost the plot with this series and we can only hope it improves.
Without wishing to speak ill of the dead, for the subject of today’s edition is no longer with us (and fair play to him at the time) – this drosh can be summarised in one word; Cheating.
Awful decision to print it IMHO.
What odds on Flockton Grey being covered tomorrow ?

that brings back memories.
If I remember right, my mates brother
Chuck Spares
had the favourite in this 2yo contest which he fancied, only to see the 3yo Flockton Grey trot up by 20 lengths.
They have to mention
Mourndyke
trained by Ron Atkins, in the papers it was a 33/1 shot and it went off at 9/4f, in the good old days of the blower.
I hope the spelling of the horse is right, it was back in the 70’s
