dreadful race

well done Mr W
June 16, 2010 at 15:41 #301176Well done Mr Wilson.
On this draw issue, surely the thing is you have to be against one rail or the other?
The low numbers didn’t try running against the Stands’ side rail, so I wouldn’t be prepared to say that the high numbers are advantaged.
Of course, this relies upon jockeys running where they are drawn.
June 16, 2010 at 15:59 #301184I wish people would stop haranguing these kind of races. You could argue that 90% of all flat races are "dreadful", yet they are the lifeblood of the sport – personally, I don’t mind huge sprint fields such as these, they are a bit of a lottery albeit, but I find it a good challenge and bit of fun to put a small stake on an outsider who could easily come good. Fair play to whoever found the winner, ironically I was on your other two Mr. Wilson!
June 16, 2010 at 16:12 #301189Well done Wilson, I feel Fortune maybe held on to Riggins for too long, he travelled through the race like a group horse in waiting. Still a decent return on a 9 pt e/w bet @ around 15/1, my biggest of the meeting and only play today, onwards and upwards. Whoopass.
