GM23, I thought it looked a bit of..hmm Glad to have pointed it out.
Ive added Perotto E/W a year without a run, hope hes fit.
June 19, 2024 at 16:57 #1698700The last 2 seasons suggest he’ll probably need the run but if he is fit, he should be right there.
Top Jockey booked also.
June 19, 2024 at 17:12 #1698703Damn Perotto has run some race there without a prep. Thought he was going to do it for second.
Gutted as was on at near 40s.
WD winners.
June 19, 2024 at 17:15 #1698707Saeed Bin Surror can still train Royal Ascot winners. Maybe Sheikh Mohammed should send him a few more decent horses?
June 19, 2024 at 17:17 #1698708Looks like the centre draws did well there.

June 20, 2024 at 00:12 #1698812Not much he can do when all the best Godolphin horses go straight to Appleby – he will need to get extremely lucky and have a horse sent to him that doesn’t fit the profile for Appleby or one that improves beyond anything it has shown to date.
Today shows he can still train when he has the right horse but in the scheme of things this is still only the Royal Hunt Cup he has won but that seems to be the level that he has been working at and where he is likely to remain unless there is a massive u-turn in how the allocation of new horses is down by the boss.
Appleby is the Golden Child and has been for sometime and I don’t see that changing anytime soon (or ever) for that matter.
