I’m fearing a late charge by the Danehill Dancers and Dubawis.
June 17, 2010 at 21:47 #301615Yeah, Dubawi seems to hold a strong hand over the last two days, but your Galileo should pick up some more decent prize money before the week is out
June 18, 2010 at 09:09 #301669Not too sure we’ve seen the end of Mr Wilson, with Lillie Langtry (Danehill Dancer) in the Coronation Stakes. Adds a bit of spice doesn’t it, Danehill Dancer versus Dubawi, when most of the entries have either one or the other in it.
June 18, 2010 at 12:41 #301724Need another big day for Dubawi tomorrow Gerald but, from my own point of view, I think your Oasis Dream might trump my Galileo.
Okay, for us against The Young Fella, we need to pick up £114,000+ from Monterosso and Anna Salai. If we don’t do that, we can’t win.
Monterosso 1st & Anna Salai 3rd
otherwise
Anna Salai 1stIf we achieve that, we can then start worrying about the others.
June 18, 2010 at 14:45 #301743Sorry cormack, coming 3rd with Anna Salai won’t do us much good, because Justin has both Galileo and Oasis Dream like us, but has Danehill Dancer instead of Dubawi, and he is only £66,000 behind us, with both Lillie Langtry and Famous running, plus other DDs later. Looks like we need Anna Salai to win, or we’re very likely out of it.

June 18, 2010 at 15:04 #301750Looks like I have been well and truly swamped!
Good luck to those still in contention.
June 18, 2010 at 15:07 #301751eddie is out of it though, like me and cormack, because Dubawi doesn’t have any more bullets.
kevcal is in the lead with Giant’s Causeway, with I think the most potent chasers, Nathan Hughes and Justin, having Oasis Dream instead.
June 18, 2010 at 15:13 #301753Okay, had another look. The other contenders, Mr Wilson and thehorsesmouth have Dansili, where the others have Giant’s Causeway or Oasis Dream, so as far as I can see, it is a fight between those three sires, as they’ve all got Danehill Dancer and Galileo. Coolmore was the way to go after all.
June 18, 2010 at 15:32 #301755Pretty fitting that the boys in
Looks set for a fascinating final day where the Golden Jubilee will obviously be the key race.I’ll post the ‘official’ figures later but I’m sure Gerald is spot-on

June 18, 2010 at 15:39 #301761Yeah I just tried it there. This really should be sorted out. I’ll have to get someone to pull their socks up
June 18, 2010 at 18:57 #301794Great competition this – we definitely have to do this again next year.
I’m all out of bullets at the gunfight but still plenty in teh running. I fancy Dansili to take the Hardwicke. That should set us up for a terrific finale.
I’ve reluctantly packed up the signed photo, it’s all parcelled up and ready to go.
Whose address will I be writing on it?
June 18, 2010 at 20:09 #301805Kevcal – £588,334
Eddie Case – 561,029
Mr W and horsesmouth – £556,589
Nathan and Justin – £538,358Sorry for late post guys. Technical probs
June 18, 2010 at 20:41 #301812Anybody know the prizemoney for Danehill Dancer and Dansili?
June 19, 2010 at 10:04 #301910Here are the sires. Less than £100 between Danehill Dancer and Galileo.
All the leaders have Danehill Dancer and Galileo.
I’m going to ignore those two sires, and just concentrate on people’s third pick.
kevcal, in the lead with Giant’s Causeway, has Clarke Lane in the Chesham and Becausewecan in the Duke of Edinburgh.
Dansili is £32,000 behind Giant’s Causeway, so needs Harbinger to win the Hardwicke, as second isn’t quite good enough.
All the Oasis Dream pickers are reliant on Showcasing and Main Aim in the Golden Jubilee. Oasis Dream is £50,000 behind Giant’s Causeway so second place in the Golden Jubilee will be good enough, and this remains the case even if Harbinger wins the Hardwicke for Dansili, as Oasis Dream would be about £90k behind Dansili, and second in the Golden Jubilee is £96k. If the Golden Jubilee isn’t good enough there are still a couple of Oasis Dream shots in the Wokingham, which may or may not be good enough.
edit: Trapper John has a chance of winning, but definitely needs Society Rock or Varenar to win the Golden Jubilee, and possibly Harbinger in the Hardwicke as well, haven’t worked it out properly.
