Well, Royal Ascot is approaching once again and to celebrate we’re giving away a fantastic prize in this free to enter compeition.
Kindly donated by our friends at Coolmore, we have a fantastic large colour photo (approx 15" x 21") of four-time Gold Cup winner YEATS, most generously signed by trainer Aidan O’Brien and jockey Johnny Murtagh.
To win this great prize all we’re asking you to do is name the 3 sires that you think will generate the most prize money (according to the Racing Post) over the 5 days. Number your selections 1-3, with 1 being the horse you feel will scoop the most, as should there be a tie from the aggregated scores, the entrant with the highest scoring number 1 will succeed.
Identical 1,2,3s are not allowed but should an occurence happen, the first entrant will be deemed the winner.
Entries will close at noon on tuesday and full finishing details will be posted after the close of racing on Saturday evening. The winner will be announced shortly after.
Thank you to Coolmore Stud once again and the very best of luck

).

I so desperatly want to win this prize, how much would an Anabaa 1-2 in the Queen Anne pay

3. Danehill Danceralbrookes, am I allowed to pick the same as Mr.W, seen as the order is different? If not, I’ll pick another instead of Danehill Dancer.
June 14, 2010 at 12:23 #300475That’s ok to pick the same 3 as someone else, as long as they are prioritised differently (which you’ve done).
So if both you’re entries are tied winners (based on the aggregated scores of your 3 stallions), Mr. W’s 1 and 2 will be compared to your 1 and 2 and the winner decided on those scores (as you have the same number 1)
Hope that’s clear.
June 14, 2010 at 16:03 #300522I really, really want to hang on to the photo. I have just the spot for it and can envisage it hanging there so, after much deliberation…

3. DubawiI also fancy Invincible Spirit and Green Desert to have a decent time of it but you can’t have them all I suppose.
