WHO IS TRF TOP FLAT TIPSTER FOR 2012 ???
The brand new Flat comp started Saturday 21-4-2012,
ALL WELCOME, are you a good tipster? this is the place to prove it, leaderboard updated weekly and the rules are below.

3 horses 1 point theoretical win on each
no more than 1 horse in same race
1 selection may be napped + 1 reserve may be added

Evens = 1 point
2/1 to 9/4 = 2 points
5/2 to 11/4 = 2.5 points
3/1 to 10/3 = 3 points and so on but please remember anything up to 15/8 is only 1 point
Odds on shots = 0.5

***Full points if your horse dead heats***

One horse maybe napped for double points if your nap is withdrawn or a non-runner then your reserve becomes your nap
all entries must be posted before the deadline

Please note = British and Irish racing only = but any nationality can take part

FIRSTLY…Many thanks to Des whose idea this competition was and for bringing us all together week by week and to to EL (Prestbury) and Steve (Jamook) for their help week by week.

SHARPEN UP THOSE LUCKY PINS because this is the week to be BRAVE and aim for the top. Anyone napping FRANKEL this Saturday will be penalised 50 points ( only joking) but it won’t get you to the top of the ladder where Steve(Hot Fuss) is now pulling away from Bob Rolf and Des.

WHO WILL WIN?
Last week Aaim to Prosper stormed in at 66/1 in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket..just napping that would have shot someone from nil points to the top of the leaderboard, so it’s not over yet and Hot Fuss will be hoping to land a couple of nice winners to secure his place on the throne of champions for the the flat season…good luck Hot Fuss and all players this week who take him on…

BOB ROLF STORMS UP THE LEADERBOARD WITH AN 8/1 WINNING NAP TO DEAD HEAT WITH HOT FUSS IN AN EXCITING FINALLY TO THE CHAMPION TOP FLAT TIPSTER 2012 COMPY
**************************************************************

Well done to both BOB ROLF and HOT FUSS in an unprecedented finish to the CHAMPION TOP FLAT RACE TIPSTER THIS YEAR.
Thanks to a non runner that was his NAP Bob slipped in with Rite of Passage obliging at 8-1 hurtling him to the top of the leaderboard where HOT FUSS failed to score this week after some consistent tipping in the past.

Due to the economic climate….All virtual goodies will be shared equally between the two winners and they will have to fight over the fluffy slippers, the ‘I’m the Champ’ Crown and the fake leopardskin dressing gown (donated by the cast of The Only Way is Essex). However there will be several bottles of Virtual Champers on Ice in the fridge and we will all be up later tonight to help you out, if Steve (Hot Fuss) can get the Hot Tub ready.

Back to reality…really well done to both BOB and STEVE, we’ve never had a shared top tipster before and I think Des, El and Steve (Jamook) will agree that the prize should be shared this time. WELL DONE

Bozlike, who only played for one week.. will be please to hear that all scores go back to Zero next week for the start of the TOP JUMPS TIPSTER COMPY…

Once again thanks to all who took part and for making this a friendly battle of skill and Horseracing knowledge each week.
Have really enjoyed working with Des, El and Jamook each week and thanks to them for all their help and support.

Des made a valiant effort to keep his 3rd place, with a nicew 7/1 winner, in front of Prestbury who had a couple of unlucky near misses this week, and in total only 4 of us scored points with Bob Rolf’s Rite of Passage at 8/1 being the biggest price winner selected which was also his nap after his original choice was declared a non runner.
