I’ve followed McFabulous since Day One, and still a big fan. Expected to see him over fences this year, and I liked him long term for something like The King George. It looks like hurdles though for the time being, and I think he’s a worthy favourite. Can’t possibly bet him at the prices though, and there’s a small question mark about the track.
The one I’ve went with is Dans Le Vent. His win at Haydock was very impressive, and regardless of the winning distance, I thought he had a bit up his cuff. He was very solid before that anyway, and as outsider of the field here, I think he’s fairly overpriced. Win only just now at 22’s, though I’ll certainly add to that if I see bigger. I’d love to see someone stick their neck out and go three places. In that case, I’d go EW too.
Dans Le Vent 22’s
December 30, 2021 at 14:15 #1575498I’ve settled on Guard Your Dreams at 7-1. I think that price is extremely generous
December 30, 2021 at 15:44 #1575522Stormy Ireland is a very interesting entry for the mullins camp, and I’ll snap up 15/2 just now
December 31, 2021 at 14:26 #1575721It’s McFabulous for me, though he’s not the biggest price here.
January 1, 2022 at 11:28 #1575919Same as Jeff , he,s not a 3 miler but 2m 4 with a hill should be perfect with the wind op

January 1, 2022 at 12:29 #1575950I’ll side with Brewinupastorm.
January 1, 2022 at 14:33 #1575989I’ve joined Autumnal on Stomy Ireland. Maybe she’s only here as nothing for her in Ireland but it’s a fair way to send the lorry for one horse and Mullins doesn’t usually bother with this meeting.
January 1, 2022 at 15:17 #1576003Well played Grass and Autumnal
January 1, 2022 at 15:18 #1576005Hard luck Mike Brewin’ was looking ominous. Another well judged ride on the winner.
January 1, 2022 at 17:39 #1576052Disappointed with Mcfabulous , he looked spot on so fitness issue , another horse with no distance , 2 4 to short 3 prob stretches him , surely a fence next for him
