RACING UK/ATR

I am not a subscriber to racing uk so may be doing them a disservice but from what i have seen on their freeviews they seem to avoid any reference to atr tracks – no betting moves no going news ..nothing ! Ok i accept they have the classier tracks especially on the flat (ascot obvious exception) but surely avoiding reference is surely the height of arrogance. For all atr faults they are excellent on news on all the tracks and if i was subsciber to ruk with general betting interest in mind would feel a bit cheesed off about it !!

Why ? If you subscribe to RUK you can get ATR anyway the same does not occur the other way round

Yes I agree about your last their Firefox.
We Subscribe to RUK here and we think the channel is much better than ATR, The main thing I like about RUK is the Continious replays after racing right through the night until the next day ,whereas on ATR you mostly have to wait until the next morning to see races over again.

Another thing is that the adverts on ATR quite often go on right upto about 5 seconds before post time! Which is very annoying when you are trying to see the horses at the start, fair anough you can press the Red Button and watch them live but it would be much better if the break’s were cut down more and you could see the runners in the paddock and on the way down to start like on RUK.

But Overall, Both channels (ATR & RUK) are pretty good and generally completely outshine Ch4 Racing.

I see RUK have put up the subscription to £12.99 and added more adverts there was a John Smiths ad yesterday to go with the holiday one.

Have you also noticed that they are sticking the Stan James ads on even if they the horses are nearly loaded.

Either RUK is an an ad channel or it isn’t.
