I was thinking much the same, Librettist. I put the absence of reviews of all of Sunday’s jumps meetings down to a lack of available space given the reports on the Arc meeting, but there haven’t been any such mitigating circumstances since then that I can think of. I hope it’s not a permanent move.

There is no reports tab but the others you mention are there

It ended 4th October
October 9, 2008 at 20:48 #184141I knew I wasn’t cracking up!!! It was there…. Now its not!
October 9, 2008 at 22:10 #184148That was the last reports page I saw as well. If they’re going to start charging for a premium version of the site I wish they’d get on and do it, rather than leaving us a free site but with bits missing.
December 4, 2008 at 23:17 #9515I expect it’s a stupid question, but could anyone please tell me how to get the week’s race cards and the early acceptors for impending big races, on the new Racing Post site.
December 4, 2008 at 23:28 #194407On the page with todays races click todays date and a calendar appears – then click the date you want.
December 4, 2008 at 23:56 #194410Thanks, Paul. I looked for a date window. I should have looked harder!
Got it. Thanks again.
December 5, 2008 at 04:02 #194483That’s Ok if you know the date- what about entries well ahead like the Guineas etc if you don’t know the date?
December 5, 2008 at 04:54 #194492It’s very trial and error, Carv, but I looked up the cards for the main meetings on the following Saturdays by clicking on the date. That brought down a dropdown menu for the month. I don’t know about beyond that.
Anyway, it doesn’t seem all that satisfactory, given the overall neatness of the new set-up. Still, I miss the infantile wee icons a bit, I must say. You know, the trilby and what have you.

It also appers to be the same with historic results – for example on the old site you could select a course and range of dates and you get all the results for a course in that date range – very useful.
I have yet to find the equivalent on the new site.

Click on a past date (eg yesterday) and then on the RHS of the page there is an Advanced Results Search option

March 5, 2009 at 14:45 #10448Racing Post Website – Opinions On Progress
Overall faster – Like It
Video Content – Good quality, very clear.
Live reporter – Like it, Tom O Ryan especially <!– s:wink: –>
<!– s:wink: –>
Cards – Still no decimal prices, text commentary should be alongside card not below, too much scrolling.
Pop ups – One would be enough, a new popup for every horse makes for a cluttered desktop very quickly
Homepage – Should have a link to a At A Glance Results for all meetings including Irish
News archive – Should have the name of the journalist included
Blogs – Good, Willo’s and the occasional Topspeed especially
Form – Would like an arrow that would select the next race at a meeting similar to RI instead of clicking on each race individuallyWould pay £20 a month for live RUK, unlimited access to the archive and the website as it stands with improvements such as those above incorporated.
Anyone got an email I can send this to?

Imo, the racecards are still a disaster, and even after another 6 hour upgrade it is still impossible to see the weights alloted in numerous races, and often, the horse’s full name. While I still find the service most useful, I wouldn’t dream of paying anything for such crass programming.
I’ve also emailed them numerous times and, one occasion apart, have failed to receive any acknowledgement whatsoever. It’s okay them repeatedly having customer surveys, but where are the signs that anyone actually listens? - AuthorPosts
