December 9, 2006 at 17:53 #32532Beginning to have an ’emperoro’s new clothes’ feel to it this Alan. And we all had such high hopes.

December 9, 2006 at 19:22 #32535I am sorry Mr. Ridley…but I do not understand any of this. Can you please explain simply what you are trying to do
Thank you
Sandpiper
December 9, 2006 at 19:50 #32536Sandpiper, he is trying to make people believe in a racketeering operation which simply doesn’t exist, by using meaningless numbers and a language which, one assumes, equates closely to English.
The only problem is that those with even the smallest amount of common sense can see that the man is, to be fair, a complete and utter fruitcake. The sad thing is he doesn’t realise it himself, preferring instead to live in a world of delusional corruption where the grass grows pink, birds fly backwards and Peter Andre and Jordan are actually intelligent, likeable people.
We all know that racing is far from clean, but the assertion that the result of EVERY race is pre-determined (as well as EVERY premiership football match, of course) is complete and utter nonsense. And, to try and prove his point, Boo Ridley merely posts the results of races, doesn’t explain what indicators were evident beforehand, only picks the odd race (surely he could give examples from one card each and every day if the cartel have their fat fingers in every ******* pie) and ignores, oh so blindly, people’s requests for pre-off predictions.
The man is, in essence, a scaremongerer who seems to be hell bent on proving that racing, a sport he claims to love, is corrupt beyond belief. Racing has enough trouble promoting a healthy image without moronic tw*ts like this making stuff up as they go along.
For all our sakes, and for the safety of the general public, the man needs committing. In any case, I’ll be sending a quick email to a friend of a friend at Betfred, and possibly Ladbrokes, and to the HRA. If he can’t prove it to us, he’ll sure as hell have to prove it to them.

December 9, 2006 at 20:13 #32538Edited.
I’m tired of this now.
Hopefully this will all be over in the very near future.

December 9, 2006 at 20:59 #32539LGR – you know what the thread is all about – if you don’t like it – DON’T CLICK ON IT!
December 9, 2006 at 21:17 #32540I have never laughed as much over a thread as this one.
December 9, 2006 at 21:17 #32541Well said Corm .. !
The whole point of this disclosure is to hopefully make as many people as possible self-sufficient – info-rich – in the scheming ways of the corporate cartel bookie
.. I am far too lazy to work out all of this code stuff. I’m far too busy ponsing around with primitive ratings (same as Corm and carlisle et al) to get too heavily involved. I would prefer to see the winners posted before the race before I dive in.
The process you are describing, if it does exist, could be modelled in excel pretty easily. It would take about an hour to set up the days sporting events and then you would run the results against the forthcoming events and trigger your bets through coincidental conditions. It would work like a random walk.

Is it me, or is this "trademark sign-off" more irritating than anything else on this thread?

Freedom of speech is fine in principle; letting loose some deranged nutter to put up 13 pages of wholly unsubstantiated garbage may be taking it a little far in practice?
Suggest he is allowed 1 post to prove his point and name 1 result before it happens. If he can’t do that, then he is a fraud, no matter how he dresses it up!
