Facteur cheval is evs to place in the top 3, great bet, his record in group 1s against better fields, id have him about 1/3 to place, ill be taking everything available until the off on that

Hard to see past facteur cheval or audience winning imo, i backed charyn every race last season and i wont be forgiving that, its not a great race atall and facteur really should be winning this on form, on heavy obviously big rock would be the angle, that comeback run was horrendous though

Facteur Cheval himself has run 14 times, ham. Never on anything with the word “firm” in it.

IF he acts on the ground I agree should get placed, good chance of winning too.
But there is a fair sized IF about it imo.

Big Rock acts on Good ground, beat everything other than Ace Impact in the French Derby on Good ground. But does he act on good-firm? All race times at Newbury on Lockinge day suggest it was firmer than the official.

Big Rock has also changed stables to a trainer whose record is nowhere near as good as his previous one. Which may well be just as important.

    Royal Scotsman a non-runner. :rose:

Should help both the front runners Bog Rock and Audience’s chance.

Ah he’ll be fine on it ginge, the Time in meydan, it was probably slightly firmer than good lto,big rocks best two performances were both on the heaviest ground he faced, yes ran well on faster ground in the french derby, the form bar the fav in the race (who won very very easily) is suspect, id be giving him 0 chance

Bet to nothing FC placing, above evs still without RS running, cant get enough of it personally, started betting heavier at 1.98 and have been taking everything available upto 2.14, will be steaming on in until the off, hopefully keeps drifting

Audience w/o the 2 favs is a good bet here at 4/1 imo. Was super impressive last time and the ground will be ideal again. He’s got 15L in hand of Big Rock from Newbury who’ll hate the conditions today again.

Trouble with the Queen Anne is it is the first race so we don’t have a race to judge the ground.
Clerk says it’s Good-Firm with the odd spot of Good.
If he is wrong and it is proper Good going then it brings a hell of a lot more horses into contention.
If he is wrong and the majority is towards the Firm side of Good-Firm, then fewer have a chance and some horses will be running on (what would be for them) dangerous ground.

I have a soft spot for Cairo so will put a bit on him. He’s not very big, got binned off by Coolmore and has never won anything big so priced accordingly.

Winner is a lovely looking horse, ran so well and deserves his victory. Docklands ran a cracker too.
