Aurelian Lemaitre enjoyed that.
June 18, 2024 at 14:37 #1698383well done winners , Docklands(loves the place) gave me a great run for my each way bet.
June 18, 2024 at 14:41 #1698385WD winners. I deserted him today for Audience, w/o though.
What on earth was Havlin at. He kicked 2F too early.

June 18, 2024 at 14:51 #1698388Docklands has run a lights out race but I don’t think we are talking about a great bunch of older milers and the top miler crown is surely up for grabs and you would have to think that one of (if not several) of the 3 yr olds are more than capable of taking the crown.
Big Rock will be a force only once the ground comes back in his favour (back in France and/or the QE2 on soft ground) but you have to seriously question both French jockeys decision to stay on the far side and I think you can ignore that race for Facteur Cheval even though he did well to finsh 6th considering the ride he was given.
They didn’t seem to go off at a crazy pace and yet the time was fast by 0.86s, so genuine good to firm summer flat racing ground
June 18, 2024 at 14:57 #1698390nice to have proper good to firm flat racing going
June 18, 2024 at 14:58 #1698391A typically good, rock solid performance by a thoroughly likeable horse. Glad he has a Group 1 to his name now.
June 18, 2024 at 15:03 #1698392I think we may find from the sectionals they went too fast.
Second, third and fourth were the back three early.
Charyn might be a touch better in relation to the placed horses. But the other top horses didn’t show their form.
Audience went too fast.
Big Rock ditto and his action was all over the place on that ground.
Facteur Cheval wanted to follow what the jockey thought was the best pace, but he too didn’t seem to handle the ground either – maybe my confirmation bias.Well done winners.
Value Is EverythingJune 19, 2024 at 12:31 #1698620Went on At The Races website to have a look at the sectionals but neither the Queen Anne or King Charles 3 showed any sectionals listed, thought it might have been an issue with the straight course but the Coventry and the last race (which starts on the straight course) both had sectionals listed.
