Japan is the one for me.
Lightly raced 4 y/o trained by the genius
20/1, please sir can I have some moreCharles Darwin to conquer the World
May 31, 2020 at 11:33 #1489175bugger 16’s top price
now I know how Oliver Twist was feeling with his gruelCharles Darwin to conquer the World
June 4, 2020 at 00:17 #1489546Logician has been on the sick list so I cashed out a while back.
No opinion at this stage.June 17, 2020 at 14:40 #1491081Japan 16-1.
June 20, 2020 at 09:43 #1491427I backed Japan again after the Prince of Wales back out 20’s had everything against him going, distance although the pace wasn’t too bad he also missed the kick.
Done both Love and Frankly Darling both at 25’s.. 3 y/o Fillies do quite well and these two look about the best of the bunch. O’Brien runs multiple horses but be careful with Frankly Darling if going Ante Post as Gosden tends not to fire to many bullets and Enable at present will be his number 1 but I thought worth a few quid at 25’s. One of them should be winning the OaksCharles Darwin to conquer the World
June 20, 2020 at 12:19 #1491467Yes, I would just back Frankly Darling when she is declared, as I don’t want to go through the same disaster as with Cracksman again who wasn’t allowed..
So I think FD won’t run here either, as JG fears she could beat Enable and he will probably protect his “wonder filly” again
July 1, 2020 at 16:13 #1492347English King 25’s across the board
He’s not for me but those thinking he is a good thing in the Derby might be interested in the price as it will surely go if he wins.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
July 1, 2020 at 21:05 #1492369No 6 year old has ever won the Arc. So it will be beneficial for Gosden to chuck in one with a winning chance.
July 4, 2020 at 11:13 #1492639I’ve finally decided to bet Mogul here, and I’ve taken the 50-1.
July 4, 2020 at 15:58 #1492697Added Love 14-1. Hope she comes here with all the allownces she gets.
July 4, 2020 at 16:00 #1492699They would be crazy not to run Love in the Arc. I doubt they have a better 3yo unless one of theirs bolts up in the Derby.
July 6, 2020 at 12:00 #1493049Love looked very impressive but would the high chance of softer ground in the Arc be a worry?
Despite her Dam’s sire being Pivotal Love has form figures of 352 on ground worse than Good and form figures of 411111 on Good or better.
July 6, 2020 at 13:12 #1493052The ground isn’t always soft. The last 5 Arcs has been Soft, Good, Good at Longchamp, and Soft and Good at Chantilly.
Good ground is a preference for her on evidence so far. Train her for the Arc without worrying about the weather is a likely scenario.
July 6, 2020 at 13:18 #1493054Kris i suppose it could be an issue for her.
Though looking at those races, one she was beat a hd in a maiden and the last run she recorded her joint best rpr as a 2yo. So it’s hard to be certain.
Agree though, it’s something she might have to prove.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!July 6, 2020 at 16:43 #1493068I’d have big concerns on anything slower than good for her at this level.
She’s very good but folk are getting carried away to me. If she had run against Serpentine she would only have beaten him 2L roughly.
July 6, 2020 at 17:33 #1493072And would of become the first Filly to win the Derby in over 100 years if she did win it.
her to bit’s but would not touch her for any race with a mention of soft in the going. A year older now i suppose but don’t think she likes it in the slightest like you said.July 6, 2020 at 19:02 #1493077With frankly darling not running her race you have to wonder exactly what she beat
