Where do you live to have a Greggs open at 8pm?
Westfield Stratford City!
What else did Linfoot tip, Corm? I can only see the Tizzard horse on the SL site.

October 28, 2017 at 23:40 #1323972Haven’t ever been within hailing distance of a Coral shop to use the guarantee myself, but I’ve no reason to doubt its legitimacy. Its a great perk available to punters who can access it imo. Its a put up or shut up offer from Coral’s really isn’t it. I’m surprised not to have heard more feedback on it. Perhaps it confirms an awful lot of these “cant get on” merchants are fantasists in reality.
Which has always been my suspicion anyway.
October 30, 2017 at 14:56 #1324155Does that mean Corals would welcome me having a large bet between those times in your shops, LS. Despite me having massive restrictions put on me over the phone and internet?
How would they know who you were? Are 2 forms of identification (one with your full name and address on) required to place a bet in shops these days? Or are wanted posters of you with the warning “Do not take bets from this person” plastered all over betting shops throughout Britain?
I find it odd that someone who is supposed to value, value so much appears to know little or nothing of guarantees of up to £5k dating back to 2014 with Corals. Maybe your sub-conscious realises how worthless the guarantees really are, even if your conscious is oblivious.
Think you’d do better judging each guarantee/issue individually, Yeats. Not be so anti-bookmaker about every single thing. You should be welcoming the Corals guarantee.
I asked “does that mean Corals would welcome me”. Of course I would go in to a Corals shop without telling them who I am. Question was about being welcome – ie whether they’d knowingly take a bet from anyone or (if they knew who a punter was) would they actually want to be more selective.
I’ve been aware of Corals 2014 shop “guarantee” since it came in – we’ve even had discussions on this forum about it before, as am sure you remember Yeats? My question here was about whether the guarantee LS mentions is a new guarantee. Because – as LS innitially put it – sounded like it might (although in more hope from me than belief) “might” be a guarantee for phone and internet aswell- unfortunately not.
Since Corals heavily limited my bets haven’t taken much interest in their guarantees/offers. Isn’t that only natural?
Not that I take much notice of any offer from any bookmaker. They’re not often applicable to me these days. Also, don’t think it’s a coincidence the one bookmaker I can get on any amount, is the one bookmaker I have never (well, seldom) taken advantage of their (on the face of it) extremely favourable special offers. However, LS’s words caught my eye. Does mention an ITV guarantee – and they weren’t around in 2014 – so at least part of what he was talking about must be “new”ish. Not as you make out – “dating back to 2014”.
