March 22, 2005 at 23:48 #94866I’m very sorry to hear this. As someone else has said, he was one of the favourites on here. May he rest in peace.
Kevin, I agree we should do something. Perhaps we should start a separate thread to discuss.
March 23, 2005 at 00:11 #94867I’m gutted
I felt Peter was a friend of mine via this forum and we talked about meeting up at Hamilton Park one day for a day at the races, we also follow the same football team – Rangers and we’d often talk about them in the football part of this forum, he came across as a funny guy and the banter we had when we were in the chatroom in the gold old days was second to none, I’ll miss him for sure and now I’ll never get to meet him.
my thoughts go to his wife and family at this tragic time.

March 23, 2005 at 08:45 #94878I would like to echo everything already posted, he was a top forumite and a top bloke I fully respected. Absoloute awful news and my thoughts are with his family. As Kevin said if anyone wants to contribute to a fund for his family I will happily set an online way of doing this then his wife can choose what she does with it.
RIP Phunter
Seagull: Can you please let me have the address of where the flowers should be sent to, when it is known.
March 23, 2005 at 08:54 #94879Daylight
I have left a message 4u.
Peter and his Scottish mates did well backing my mates greyhound F/H Dan and he arranged a best wishes card signed by all his mates to be sent to the owner on Greyhound Final night.
That what type of guy he was.
March 23, 2005 at 09:12 #94880Very sad.
He always came across as a top bloke.
We had punted the idea of arranging a northern-TRF day out at Musselburgh this summer.
It’s a pity that it wasn’t to be.
Sincere condolences to his family.
