They just get better and better..
It’s A Sin rates as one of my favourite songs along with the collaboration with the late great Dusty Springfield What Have I Done To Deserve This.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 25, 2022 at 21:59 #1608586Do like that one with The Killers. Brandon Flowers almost looks in awe of them at times. They also do This Charming Man and bring Johnny Marr out for it.
Honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a better performance at Glastonbury than that Pet Shop Boys one this year.

Shoot me.
July 29, 2022 at 21:14 #1609400Not forgetting their brilliant soundtrack from Scandal, “Nothing has been proved”; fabulous.
July 29, 2022 at 23:11 #1609411I like some of their earlier music when they were starting out, but most particularly the songs the Parrot sang in. She missed the shop apparently and the stress of touring and the late nights got to her and she died a few weeks after a one night stand after she had laid a large egg . I was a groupie and followed her everywhere. No I’ll never forget Polly.
July 31, 2022 at 19:18 #1609686Loved it when The Killers brought on Petshop Boys a few years back at Glastonbury to sing Always on My Wind with them, was a very nice touch and I’d imagine Petshop Boys were a big inspiration to the lead singer of The Killers growing up so thought it was really cool seeing him honour them on that stage. Obviously their set this year blew the roof off too!
