Palmers Hill very quickly introduced to the market by a few firms, and I’ll almost certainly take that 20’s EW to 5 Places.
Looks a really competitive Qualifier at Huntingdon, but had to add Palmers Hill At 16’s NRNB.
He could be very good, and a lot will depend on whether or not there’s been an issue behind his absence.
I’ve taken some of the 20s also Bobby, really like the horse.
Jonjo has a tricky job to do here thouhg as they will need to go up 4/5 pounds to get in but they won’t want to go up too much more than that
Non Runner now.
Got the security of NRNB, but here’s the remaining four British qualifiers, no sure if any more in Ireland.
2nd Feb – Musselburgh
9th Feb – Exeter
15th Feb – Haydock
22nd Feb – Chepstow
I think that the win of Glamorgan Duke at the weekend, confirmed that Paul Gillian can plot them for a proper big Handicap. Very impressive.
I think that Shanwalla is a player in this. He’s 50’s, and he’s had his Cheltenham “sighter”, and having made the journey across, quietly ran into sixth in a Qualifier at Huntingdon.
Edit – Shanwalla quickly off the shortlist, but Discorama at 25’s now very much on it.
I’m going up on the Thursday and will certainly be backing the Storyteller in this

It’s All Guesswork…are the three really jumping out, but my hands are a wee bit tied on this race just now.
Not a bad qualifer at Haydock tomorrow either, assuming it doesn’t get blown away. I like the look of Portrush Ted, think he could be a graded horse and backed him at 14s win only for the final- NRNB to account for his fragility.
Palmers Hill missing from the entries at Chepstow, thank god for NRNB, as he was my joint biggest Antepost, along with The Storyteller.
Tedham gets an entry though, but he’s a smaller one here at 33’s. He’ll hopefully qualify, but if he does, if I do want to top up, it’ll be at much shorter odds.
Plenty on the shortlist to add to that pair, but it might just make sense to wait till Final Decs now.
I like Dream Berry in this at 25’s
NRNB now available. Could well be Mc Manus first choice on the dayRelegate upto 132 in Ireland….Still probably touch + go for this, but she will have a fair chance of getting in considering she has grade 1 bumper form in the uk + in Ireland. I suppose mr uk handicapper could be annoying and not increase her…

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!With Palmers Hill cash returned via NRNB, it would make sense to wait, but latest one to get added to the shortlist is Kansas City Chief at 50’s.
He’s been on my radar for a couple of years now, including when down the field in this last year. I’ve lost a few quid on him, but forgiving him his wayward moment last week, he looks much improved this year, and I thought he’d be shorter.
