Dave Jay has been ticked off for being late and demanding a gun licence.
.. the more you post the more chance there is of offending someone, it’s only a matter of time really.
August 3, 2008 at 13:10 #175927I had thought a little the same Dave
and although no serious edge is intended
in some senses I am a smoking gun
and will give thought to your words……interesting moehat
August 3, 2008 at 15:50 #175944I have given some thought …and
I am sorry dave, I am afraid I can’t do that.
My writing mission is too important to me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Look dave I can see you are really upset about this, I honestly think you should sit down calmly here in the lounge and take a stress pill and think things over.
I know I have made some very poor decisions lately, but I seem to remember you warning me before and I survived, and I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal.I might need your help though, I am afraid dave I think my mind is going, I can feel it, my mind is going, my mind is going…
August 4, 2008 at 00:10 #175986the lights are gradually fading
… there seems to be an atmosphere of hysterical hysteria in forums these days.
…I re-registerd (had been a member yonks ago) on a racing forum today today and received a complimentary email. The name I used was gamble. I looked in to see quite a few old friends
I did not feel to post. I went to log in again after two hours and my name had been deleted. It is very very sad – I have banned without one postDave I might need your sixteen stone of pure muscle to rectify the situation, I have never been treated with such indignity, and all this when my mind is finally going.
August 4, 2008 at 07:47 #175995G .. things aren’t fair, it’s the way it is. What ever happened to Sky?
August 4, 2008 at 12:00 #176033He’s making hay in the Costas
not as much hay though.
Slippy Blue accompanies him
with a pitch fork

You should try this forum Gamble..
It is impossible to get banned! That’s a rule that they have as it was set up for all the people who have been banned from Betfair. Mainly full of idiots, but Bert is a regular poster on there. Can’t think why he bothers with the place-maybe he enjoys being a big fish in a small pond
August 4, 2008 at 18:02 #176079You have surprised me !
it looks like the new hotel on Alcatraz
and I’ve done my time in here
Paranoia more than hysteria
with the other place.
I may get round to a few words
in the style of machine gun kellyAugust 6, 2008 at 01:37 #176255Bert does like to ruck with the halfwits in there-I can’t see the kudos in beating them?
Guess he’s just bored, like the rest of us mere mortals.
Would love to have seen Bert on here a few years ago having a battle with ID in his prime

I have seen Bert’s style of posting – he writes occasionally in Gary’s place – it is non-confrontational and of an amusing nature. I did not read him in the punter forum but didn’t look everywhere. Let’s face it I surmise both men see Flutter differently as innovator or imitator and this might well have caused tight lips.
On the subject of wit’s absconding I included his last posting as it may have been deliberately staged. He wrote to Matron a backbone writer – possibly then the most senior. Could of been his way of saying ta ta. It was September when the crunch got into first gear, and another possible factor.
August 8, 2008 at 00:48 #176398I admire you standing up for a fellow forumite, but can’t see how you could have missed Bert in the punter place. He’s not a bad guy but does love to prove his intellectual superiority.

Anyway, hope you are ok Gamble. I regard you as a friend even though we rarely speak these days. Take care.
August 8, 2008 at 10:54 #176410Fiends ! yes why not, from one splash poster to another.
My style of occasionally venemous posting never really
allowed me the luxury of friends, but splash posting is in decline
due to restrictions on its scope,
so maybe I am giving up my secretive independent stance. As you said in your splash Jilly, we did exchange some short emails a few years back. Four I think. I did a search and found one I wrote you and thought to put it up for interests sake, however it is a little controversial in that it mentions my then current nemesis. I am interested in finding proof about the state of this house in yonk time when it was supposedly better.
It is the eighth of the eighth of the eighth
today… in this year of the witch.August 9, 2008 at 02:28 #176480Fiends ! yes why not, from one splash poster to another.

today… in this year of the witch. It was more than four-as you well know- and you’re the least venemous(sic) poster that I know
I won’t embarrass you with posting one of your emails on here….but you go ahead if you wish

I may well do my Michael Winner impression with a flourish of Gervais
then eat a biscuit. I will speak of the emails later… more importantly..The year of the witch
We are in the time, the year, the season of the witch.
It is a long and drawn out period spanning five years. I first wrote about it on Big Betty a substitute Betfair board, set up when big blue went down – an event that David Marshall accords to my evil, and he predicted after I had posted on Betfair a piece of Flutter that is often referred to as the cursed poting. There have been three time spasms since I dedicated my life to experimental board work and intensive mind studies. The year of the witch had no reference to you Jilly however the period does affect you as it does us all.
After writing yesterday I took off on a car journey heading west…I had this thread on my mind as I gripped the steering wheel hopping to avoid the demented Friday exodus…..contd..
the edit above was to italicize events
August 9, 2008 at 09:39 #176500the period of dark
A great darkness descended on the "earth "
and lurked there for nigh on two years,
unleashing terrific forces. It finally left
leaving the witch as a testament
to the supreme evil that had gone before. The earth was my personal earth but
the darkness seeped out from it
to infect the people
the trees the animals – the great stirring –
and allowed
me the unholy pleasure of true sight
into the awfulness of the destructive mind
which was working en masse funelling
evil through the internetMy life at this time was turned upside down.
I have written just a splinter in the past
for the old posters
that may remember. The car journey was a frolic
a possible serendipity of
purely innocent combining circumstance
that brought me back to that time,
that I personally refer to as the great matching
when I came face to leathery face with satan.contd…
August 9, 2008 at 10:41 #176507You doubters chuckle away
I could write on and on about these things.
The colourful prose they are dressed in
may mask the body, but that body was there
and is here now with me.
Doubters put arsenic in
your coffee and give it to your ratJilly you write authoritatively with your words
… as you well know
in relation to email births.
My life is often filled with strong womenIn fact I didn’t know but admit I may be mistaken.
I often underestimate my writings,
and that includes emails.
There were then more than four but quadruple that number
and are we not near porkeyland..I wrote three times to Daylight
and three times he denied me.
If only he was here now to rattle my prattle
and put a lid on my venomVenom as Jilly sugests is possibly the wrong word
shall we replace it with ascerbic knifings.
Ah yes the rather amusing car journey…
August 9, 2008 at 11:04 #176511Before the car journey
but after my posting
I arranged to meet a woman
in a public cafe. She met me on the corner
of several roads
and her eye was caught
by a nearby clothes shop.I finished my coffee alone
and saw her exiting.
No clothes but a look of excitement
as she caught my eye.
I ranted and raved at her
then smiled and
ordered two double cappas
for a mean fiver.
My temper is short and brutal but there is
sheep inside that just loves
sitting cross-legged al fresco.During the time she was satisfying
her shop lust I was reading the Times (free)
and doing the doddlebug under the table
so – no wastage. - AuthorPosts
