I’ve had an early bet on Brandt at 16’s. Finishing position in The Ulster National was respectable, but in truth, he was never in it
Not convinced he’ll travel over, but if he does, I’ll have more on EW
Brandt 16’s
Brandt was the Antepost pick, and I’ll top up four places. The other one I’m adding is Fortunedefortunata, who was awful the last time I bet him, but can much better for new yard last time
Also with Wa Wa Antepost in the hurdle. Won’t top that up, as happy with what I’ve got

Fortunedefortunata 25’s EW4PlsGold Clermont is my ew bet here if he runs. I think this race would suit if he first run elsewhere
Keep expecting Innis Orr to pop in one of these again , Chavez seems difficult to get on to the track but the handicapper is helping now
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
A disappointing looking race this year with a distinct shortage of proven from over extended distances. One possible that catches my eye is Breeze Of Wind , decent form up to 4 miles and in a better class than this particular Borders National second in December. Blinkers applied for the first time not an encouragement however…
I’ll go President Scottie each way in a weak race , handicapper has def relented and given him a chance
