Hey Thanks for posting that Gerald!!!
Just hoping then that he will maks a full recovery. I think his trainer is very wise though keeping him off the track.Hopefully he will make a full recovery and we will see him in action again soon.
He is a genuine champion horse.Always runs to his best. Just a shame he lost a shoe.God thats so annoying when that happens and causes injury.
Was really looking forward to seeing him over here.Cant believe his owner picked him up from Newmarket for next to nothing! I think he picked him up for some thing like just £2100 His owner turned down an offer from over $5.350,000 for him. I dont think you can put a price on a horse like that.
Any way lets hope we see him return to action, think it would be great for UK racing if he does come over!

Hi.
What I’ve been trying to say is that the horse got an injury in preparation for the Hungarian Grand Prix or whatever at Kincsem Park in April.
He then loses a shoe during the race.
Maybe his hoof hadn’t recovered from the injury during training? Which is why he lost the shoe during the race.
The owner/trainer really, really wanted to run in that Hungarian race, because after that they would be gallivanting elsewhere. The race was shown on national television with a really, really sexy wench fronting it, who got good reviews on this forum.
Don’t want to say too much about the injury, because I don’t have any veterinary experience.
Edit: Christ, only just noticed Native Dancer’s race record – 22 races, 21 wins. Almost everything except the Kentucky Derby.
Earlier this evening also read about Polynesian not liking training on the track (or elsewhere). Kept in an field, and then shipped in for races. Necessarily then had to be entered only for sprints.
