Maybe it is just me but does anyone else think the interminable build up to Cheltenham has been a bit more low key this year? I had almost forgotten we are that close to the festival until someone reminded me at the weekend.

Perhaps the well documented issues with the festival have had their effect and people are not getting into such a frenzy about it now?

I expect I will still feel excited when they are lining up for the Supreme Novices on Tuesday.
