    Challenging and thought provoking piece. Are many ex-racehorses better off dead when their racing careers come to an end?

    The one emotion that immediately springs to mind is sadness!!

    It is a thought provoking piece that deserves to be seen and read by a far greater audience than it obviously will.

    Thanks Cormack for pointing it out to us and I hope everyone on this site reads it.

    Apparently many ex-racehorses are put down but statistics are not kept.
