Freedom for Tooting!
Value Is EverythingDecember 12, 2013 at 15:14 #461565Betlarge.
That "Drone" character.
December 13, 2013 at 00:45 #461615VtC – Systems, crazy bets
Right on cue, a 200/1 winner with the horse beating Royal Encore.
It’s a bit like betlarge getting turned over by Vtc in The Poster of the Year awards. go Vtc go……
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 13, 2013 at 01:13 #461616VtC would certainly have to go some to win this, Nathan. He’s not been nominated yet.
A mention in a list doth not a nomination make.
December 13, 2013 at 09:10 #461628All must be right with one’s little world if one can spend inordinate amounts of time propping up the bar or lying prostrate on the floor of dimly lit, once-smoky dives, talking bollox
So I would like to thank my fellow lounging lizards for a year which was witness to a great deal of remarkable bollox
so please "give it up for"

I’m quite happy to nominate
Venture To Cognac
.
His knowledge of the Irish scene and his contributions on that area are unrivalled on TRF.
His real masterpiece is the ‘Midnight Club’ where he has harnessed the powers of darkness to send the layers running for cover!

Oh good. Nathan can now start his campaign for the rag to turn over the odds on jolly. And the very best of British to them
December 13, 2013 at 22:40 #461705That would be an ecumenical matter
December 13, 2013 at 23:05 #461708Got three posters
off the tree
who really deserve this title.Ricky Lake
a big year for him.
He has developed into an encyclapaedia
for hitting the button. He says what
he feels and its a good read.
Forget his recent breakdown
He had his last one over Matthew,
look at his overall performance
this year. When you see his name up
– you want to read what he’s said.
Compelling !Grimes
would need a few near
deaths to win this, but in my view
deserves to be the worthy winner. My wifes death and, later, a heartening
experience, must be one of the greatest
threads written on this board. I did
not contribute but often re-read it
at night.Near death was controversial and
well argued. I enjoyed it particularly
when Drone popped in. Now there’s a
couple of giants creaming off the
dictionary together.Earlier in the year we had
Grime’s black swan contribution.
He’s a small stake gambler
so come on yankee menAs I have mentioned
Drone
he would be my third selection,
but all of equal standing.
His oft complicated posts
have a symmetry and energy
to them which is cheering
to the heart - AuthorPosts
