Cheers Ricky. I don’t expect everyone to lock themselves in the basement because of me, but I just think with Omicron, some caution is needed until we actually know what it is.

I look forward to zero restrictions ASAP.

Proper sad to see the division that Covid has caused between people. We see it here every day and multiple times, it will be mirrored on all other forums and on social media + out in the real world, of course.

I’m in the same boat as Betlarge
If the govt were overly concerned they would surely start up shielding. I had a letter saying Shielding had stopped for good.
They can’t do it both ways, unless they want to write off the high risk

I did think of you Nathan tbh! I also received the “you can stop shielding now” letter. I filed it in the same place as the Jehovah’s Witness missives.

I’m lucky in so much as I can stay at home, many in my situation can’t.

    Bloody heck Nathan

I totally agree. If this was dangerous the shielding folks would be at home with all the relative forlough etc

I reckon its two birds job

Distract attention from his own shambles
And lockdown for the hell of it

I dont think its too bad tho in all honesty but im not at risk so easy to say

    Be carefull Nathan ok 😀

NO you don’t “totally understand” Ricky boy…
You’re an anti-vaxer who actually celebrates both not wearing a mask and not keeping your distance.
Not surprising you’ve “had the bug”.
If someone tries to take precautions but infects someone else then absolutely no blame should be put on anyone. Even if he or she infected me or my girlfriend. Feel sorry for the people you may well have infected Ricky; and it is very difficult for me to believe you’re “sorry to hear that Mike” – because by your own admission you’re not taking any precautions what-so-ever.
…And like Mike (betlarge) – from the Lounge you know that I am also in a high risk group… yet you call me “bedwetter of the year”.

To be honest I haven’t worried much at all, believing people were basically being careful… Until I read what some TRFers are like. No use shutting myself away. My girlfriend is also in a higher risk group and yet has worked throughout as an essential worker, a Postie. Just hope there are no co-workers in her sorting office with the same attitude to covid as you Ricky – as she’ll be at a far greater risk. So sorry, I do now worry mainly for Shirley, as well as if she brings it home to me. :rose:

Poor man you still dont gettit

I take my own risks and live my life , i was always aware I would catch it

So what my choice. It was not bad at all

My freedom will never be coerced or compromised

    Life is for living

What you do is your choice

Just dont preach to me about mine

    Hence the bedwetter

    I wish you well though

Just understand this is NOT about a virus

    Its control

Next yr if johnson is still in charge

You will be locked away and forced. Yes forced to have your 4th or 5th jab

    When will you say enough??

Now. I’ve had enough of you now Ricky boy.

Anyone who is against covid passes, fine your choice.
I might disagree with CAS and co but respect their decision.

As I do for anyone who does not want to be vaccinated, fine your choice – as long as you take other precautions.

Ricky wrote: “I take my own risks and live my life , i was always aware I would catch it”.

Being without a jab is one thing. But anyone WITHOUT a jab who actually celebrates BOTH NOT wearing a mask and NOT keeping their distance is (to put it politely) being reckless. Showing a massive lack of respect for those in at risk groups. THAT Ricky boy is NOT “your choice” to make. Any such person getting too close to my girlfriend or myself is knowingly putting us at maximum risk. So grow up and take some responsibility. :negative:

This is not about “control”, it’s about saving lives.
Or may be you mean it is about you having control over others.

    :bye:

I think you are going to hear much more from me

If you are that scared then SHIELD

AND apply a gag so you dont have to spew rubbish

But Shield and stay away from humans

You have crossed the line. I dont need this bollocks now or ever

What part of me having a girlfriend who works as a Postie don’t you understand, Ricky boy?

    “Shield” how?

Are you really telling me I should ask Shirley to give up work?

Or Hide from her in another room without any contact?

Or are you telling me we should split?…

…And all because of you or people like you insisting on not wearing a mask and not keeping your distance while you’re unvaccinated.

Is that the “control” you want?

I repeat: Shirley (who is herself higher risk) could bring home covid at any time… and if any of her work colleagues are as reckless as you then the chance of that happening are greatly increased.

    Got it?

Is it really asking too much to wear a mask and keep your distance?

I don’t go racing nowadays – since before covid – but if I did yes it would depend on Vax passports. It wouldn’t have done. Vaccinated and unvaccinated people would not have put me off going, but sadly YOU have convinced me I’d now need vax passports.

100 of his own MPs voted against Johnson, making him dependent on the vote of left wing Labour MPs.

Lump on him not being PM this time next year. He is toast.
