Would love to know what would be ideal about Owen apart from the fact that he likes flinging his cash at racing…….Very bland when interviewed,seems mired in predictable football style cliches (‘as I say’……..’at the end of the day’etc) and truly one of the dullest monotoned voices/accents I have ever heard…..from memory not sounding unlike the afore mentioned terminally dreadful Tom Lee

…I wouldn’t disagree with your observations but I think people forget this show is sponsored by Dubai and it would seem part of the programme is aimed at the kind of people who can be persuaded to go there for a holiday.
Fine hotels, sun, sea, sand, cruises and lots of shopping. A bit of racing if you want and you don’t need to know anything about gambling.
Not something that would appeal, I’m guessing, to most male members of betting obsessed sports forums.

Mr Owen has a mesmerising beauty – moreso with the sound off.

I don’t know how anyone can accuse Alice or Tanya of ‘not knowing their stuff when it comes to racing’. When it comes to horses Alice knows more about them than most people have forgotten, as does Tanya with the betting side.
