I’m jumping on board too, the 16’s was going, so had to get involved early.

Still way ahead on this race, so can add another here, and from last nights shortlist, I’ll also add Christmas In April.

The more I look at how awful this race is the more gutted I am that champagne classic got injured

Was looking to take Carefully Selected on but I really cant see past him if he stays up.

The only way to take him on is with a fall IMO.

Forza Milan goes here + i’ve heard Derek rides. He’s what like 8 or 9s. He couldn’t get near CS last time with 6pd in hand? CS made a big error then too.

Ravenhill too, comes on the back of a fall, Codd rides, ranges from 8s to 5s.

Not sure i can see him beat myself, but it’ll be by falling anyway IMO. He’s a grade 1 horse, these are handicappers.

I honestly can’t see the favourite jumping round. I am not one for wishing them on the floor but IMO this will not get round without multiple errors!!

I think there are two runners if they both turn up and have backed them at 7/1 and 8/1 respectively !
BATTLEOVERDOYEN looks tailormade for this and so does LORD DU MESNIL and I wil happily see them trot up the hill together!!

Did a double take when I saw LORD DU MESNIL in this one. He’s a battle hardened stayer in handicaps taking on novices and has to be my Tuesday best bet.

Also on Lord Du Mensil. Just hoping this isn’t one tough slog too many for him. Clearly improving though and a top jock aboard.

Also Lord du Mensil for me here. He is the highest rated horse, battle hardened, jumps fine and surely stays.

ALL IN ON LORD DU MESNIL now they have taken the danger out (Battleoverdoyen) !! Had some more on at 8/1 !!!

I do like Ravenhill and would love it if the Norn Iron owned horse won but I think better ground and a flatter track would suit him better.

Can’t ignore a Tizzard horse in this race so I’ve had a go on Lamanver Pippin ew at 18s with Paddy’s money back if your horse finishes 2nd 3rd or 4th.

Ok he only won a not-superb handicap last time but his jumping improved as the race went on, he won it with Robbie Power sitting still, he goes on soft and has a good pilot on top.
Future Welsh National horse?
