Hmmmm…. www.pedigreequery.com? Combined with brisnet it does most of that, but not convinced that’s the one you want.
If you remember, let me know – I’m not sure I know that one!!
:) ÂÂÂ
October 5, 2006 at 17:58 #96979Sal !!!! thanks so much, that is the very one!

still having problems I see. Forums need young vibrant and controversial members like you and your mate, give the rest of us something to get our teeth into, right? so keep it up and don’t get the hump, however, you did get some good advice from a number of other members regarding your earlier article asking for advice and suggestions, unfortunately you don’t seem to have taken any of it on board which is a shame. Your Willie Carson quip certainly made me chuckle though…..lol!!
seeing as you know all about everything try and answer me this please,
there’s a thoroughbred pedigree web site, their family trees where you can click on any horse’s name and it gives you it’s offspring and siblings, all their stakes results etc. I can’t think for the life of me what it’s called, any ideas Jack????? anyone ???? ÂÂÂ
cheers xx
Not all "youngsters" are controversial LL – look at me
I suppose on a positive note all of Jackanes threads have been well responded to ;)

October 8, 2006 at 10:09 #96983Quote from Racing Post article:-
SELDOM can a stranger tale have been told than that entitled ‘My Day’ on The Racing Forum (https://www.theracingforum.co.uk) by a contributor styling himself ‘jackane 24’. Jackane, who as it turns out is not 24 at all but 18, alleges that on Arc day he blagged himself a press credential from "a French steward". Somehow he got it upgraded with the coveted ‘yellow spot’ that permits access to the holy of holies that is the parade ring’ then spent his afternoon rubbing shoulders with such titans of the turf as Magnier, Tabor, Smith, Fabre and Take.
Outrageously, our intrepid interloper proceeds to provide character sketches of the great and good upon whose time he has intruded. The Coolmore trio are deemed "great blokes" for their willingness to converse with an unknown teenager. Fabre and Take are "b*stards" for their unwillingness to discuss race tactics or, in Take’s case, sign autographs.
Jackane, a self-confessed admirer of Derek Thompson and John McCririck, goes on to claim he was caught on BBC TV shaking hands with Stephane Pasquier as the jockey returned in triumph on Rail Link. Perhaps someone at Broadcasting House can make the necessary checks so that (a) the impertinent youth may be apprehended, and (b) we can decide whether or not he’s related to that well-known Longchamp owner, breeder and all-round personality, Monsieur Walter Mitty
October 8, 2006 at 10:21 #96984:biggrin:  at Zorro’s piece.
October 8, 2006 at 10:24 #96985:biggrin:
LOL. Made my morning. Not sure it’s entirely fair, but very funny, Zorro.
October 8, 2006 at 11:07 #96986Thanks DJ and maxilon.
Jackane, reading it here it does seem a bit mean, but don’t take it that way. I was just trying to have a bit of fun with it – and you. You did do it, didn’t you?:)
October 8, 2006 at 11:14 #96987Tut tut Zorro – not quite a ‘Hatchet Job’, but nearly! Perhaps by way of an olive branch you can have a word with the powers that be at the Post and get our Jackane a leg up on the journalistic ladder?
Junior Ballydoyle Correspondent perhaps?
It’s only fair.
October 8, 2006 at 11:43 #96989I have to say never have the words "careless talk costs lives" or "keep a low profile" seemed so apt….
Did I tell you about my time at the 2002 World Cup
October 8, 2006 at 12:42 #96990They do all say all publicity is good publicity.
October 8, 2006 at 13:30 #96991Yes and now Jackane can say he made it to the racing post anyway

October 8, 2006 at 17:34 #96992Do you people think that it’s funny? I hope you do. I’ve just PMd Zorro saying that I’ll send him a copy of the bit I’m shaking Pasquier’s hand, and a photo of me. Actually Zorro, I’ll also send you photocopies of my signed Arc programme.
If they are all fake, fine. If and when he discovers they are real, he issues an apology on TRF and also in his next column.
I find it disgusting that he can just go and rip someone to shreds in a national newspaper, and there are so many discrepancies with it.
So why should my career chances pay for my enthusiasm and passion about horse racing?
So fine, you people have a laugh – maybe someday you’ll grow a conscience and actually feel bad for having a laugh at my expense. Or maybe you are all just heartless b*stards……
October 8, 2006 at 17:44 #96993Oh dear!!
I am very sorry that you have taken a little banter so much to heart.
I’d forgotten how sensitive one is when one is so young.
Deepest apologies, Jackane.
Colin
October 8, 2006 at 17:46 #96994Jack you come on here ripping Carson and Fabre to pieces. If you can’t stand the heat etc
