terribly sad to hear that he’s in a critical condition after a car crash on Sunday, and am beginning to wonder if there’s some sort of curse attached to the new Batman film [which I’ve been told is amazingly good].This guy has had roles in some of the most moving films of all time, especially The Shawshank Redemption and Million Dollar Baby….

…Not to mention another of my personal favs Unforgiven, and Seven. Hope he gets better, he’s right up there with the best in the business.

Which muppet called his condition critical? He’s apparently suffered nothing more than a broken arm.

C’mon rory – it is critical if he feels like picking his nose and scratching his erse at the same time.

Or maybe he’s down to play Tarzan in his next movie?

“I like your right leg, it’s a lovely leg for the role…………”

    Oh good…

I was worried that we would be deprived of his Nelson Mandela-impression in further weepies, whereby he s-l-o-w-l-y mutters a dumb truism (‘a long journey… must… start… with a single step’), and then slowly contorts his face into a ‘wise grin’ as if he’s just checkmated Kasparov or something.

A good actor needs to do more than this in every film.

I’m pretty sure he’s the ‘snakes on a plane’ bloke?

I’m afraid it was another case of over zealous reporters diagnosing his condition by taking a look at the damage to the car.

When I first heard of his accident I switched to one of those American News channels on digital, and they were describing him as fighting for his life. Thank god for the British news an hour or so later who told us of his broken arm and elbow

it does say on paper he is talking but in critical condition with numerous broken bones (not just his arm)
