Great Leighs has been further delayed until 22 November – why are they bothering it will always be a joke for years to come its lost any reputation it had perhaps they should just give up.
Worcester have abandoned all fixtures for the rest of 2007.

It just needs those responsible for Great Leighs to get their backsides into gear and get the show on the road.

That’s a terrible, terrible shame.
Pitchcroft, for all thy faults (and God knows there’s plenty, from the risible prizemoney to the susceptibility to flooding), I love thee still. Let’s see you come back in better fettle late next March.
I presume alternative venues will be sought for its remaining fixtures, won’t they?

Racing at Worcester has been abandoned for 2007 due to severe damage sustained to the racetrack during the June and July floods. We will resume racing on 6th April 2008.
