May 4, 2017 at 19:30 #1299385I was there yesterday ran really well a d looked like he could probably handle a bit further too. Well done if you were on at 7s as 7/2 was more realistic if not shorter!
May 7, 2017 at 20:25 #1299941I didn’t back him in the end Clints, hope you were on
I’m not sure if he should have been shorter than 7/2
Ennaadd had run keenly on Lingfield Champions day and I expected him to come on leaps and bounds for that outing considering the trainer had stated his horse was Lockinge potential. My bet would have been each way if there were 8 but the 7 runners and 2 places got in my head and I probably rated Ennaadd too highly which lowered the win part.
I’m not fussed have won a bit of money with Tabarrak in previous races including the place money on debut when he was 66/1 in the early betting. Not always about betting and winning/losing money as he is a favourite of mine and I’m happy enough he won and pleased for Hannon that he got him back on track after a few problems apparently being the reason he was missing for a while.Funnily enough I did back Eqtiraan yesterday another one of Hannons I rate who like Tabarrak has been gelded. 10/1 looked very big to me and Victory Angel was the only one I feared. Victory Angel was one of the first beaten and thought mine would see the trip out well only for the rank outsider to fly past.

May 7, 2017 at 20:41 #1299944I see Stan James have Ennaadd in at 10/1 for the Lockinge…….
If Tabarrak was in they would have him fighting Galileo Gold and Ribchester for favoritism

September 23, 2017 at 01:22 #1318582Glad you backed him Nathan.
I managed to get 6/1 with Paddy Power.
Great to see him come powering through at the finish.

Has a decent enough record first time out
Hannon pleased with his work
soft going not ideal as such but shouldn’t be too much of a hindrance
Come on Tabarrak…..!!!Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

March 26, 2018 at 23:08 #1348191He hated the ground just sploshing about in the mud up the back and unable to get into the race.
Not given a hard time, like Arnie he’ll be back.
Shame they ran him really but guess Hannon needed to know if he went on that ground, now he does.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 12, 2018 at 16:26 #1353774That was more like it….
