What is Hannon doing with Tabarrak, has he met with a setback or something…?
If anyone bumps into him at the racecourse please do ask, Richard is very approachable.Tabarrak won his last race and
the race before that he just got touched off by Thikriyaat over 7f admittedly Thikriyaat has improved from that a lot winning well yesterday for the step up in distance and ran a cracker in the Jersey 2nd behind Ribchester who in turn run The Gurkha and GG close in the Sussex.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
August 4, 2016 at 09:52 #1258815I see he has an entry at Newmarket on Saturday in a handicap
Richard aiming high with this one (rolls eyes)
When he wins Richard will say ‘We know he had form with Thikriyaat’
Reminds me of his handling of Peacock who deserved a crack at a few better races after running second to Golden Horn and Time Test.

August 4, 2016 at 17:50 #1258858Thanks Diamond, I’m not overly surprised.
That’s 3 handicaps he’s been entered in and not taking part in lately. Before that he was entered up for the Jersey and Commonwealth with Hannon saying he was fast enough for the 6f race which got my eye brows raise.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
August 8, 2016 at 17:19 #1259173Entered in the 7f handicap at Donny 3.45pm Saturday 13th
August 8, 2016 at 17:32 #1259176Thanks for the heads up Diamond
I wanted to edit the thread title as I’m sure it should read Enquiry and not Inquiry…??

August 8, 2016 at 17:41 #1259178Enquiry is correct
August 8, 2016 at 17:50 #1259179Yeah, I thought it was.
There is an edit option for the thread title but when I click on it, it says I cannot edit
Anyway, Hannons yard is starting to pick up a bit, I think this horse is consistent and can put up a good effort.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
August 8, 2016 at 18:34 #1259180Oddly, the BHA insist on persevering with a Stewards’ Enquiry.
August 9, 2016 at 11:16 #1259235Rumour has it Nathan that Hannon is running Tabarrak in the all Grey Horse Race at Newmarket on Saturday 2.45.
He’s had a good wash down and sprayed with over 50 different shades of grey
Here’s hoping it’s not too hot on Saturday as he may sweat up a bit and give the game away…signs are good that he will run away with this one and hopefully won’t fade in the closing stages.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 9, 2016 at 19:49 #1259268With no group 1 winner in 2016 it could be Mr Hannon going grey and running in the race himself.

October 10, 2016 at 10:26 #1266494Still no news of Tabarrak’s whereabouts or wellbeing
Hannon said of him as a two year old in 2015 “He’ll be a nice horse next year”.
Maybe he’s good at hide and seek.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 16, 2017 at 11:07 #1296999Entered up in a handicap on Thursday at Newmarket.
Will he show up….?Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 16, 2017 at 13:16 #1297008I’ll let you know if the real Tabarrak turns up Nathan
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 20, 2017 at 17:18 #1297535I thought he ran credible enough considering the long time off.

May 2, 2017 at 17:43 #1299211Stepping up to a mile tomorrow
run under his belt
competition looks healthy enough, Ennaadd looked fresh enough at Lingfield 1st time out and should run better for that outing. Tabarrak is currently 6/1 top price but not all have priced up yet. Ideally I’d go each way but only 7 declared so just the 2 places. I’m holding out for a bigger price but happy to leave and watch if not.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
May 2, 2017 at 22:32 #1299228Nathan I would think he is definitely worth a small wager as he looked in need of the race at Newmarket, once he was headed by Mix And Mingle 1 furlong from home he wasn’t pushed out up the hill and finished 3 lengths in front of John Gosden’s Castle Harbour (3rd) so all in all a good effort, 6/1 looks a decent price for a 7 runner race, I’ve had a little bit on him tomorrow Richard Hannon Jnr in such good form.
