Hello Jac, I am not taking part in the Godolphin comp this time around. Sorry
Good Luck with your bets today.
February 13, 2026 at 18:04 #1754494Jac
We were unlucky with hallasan beaten a head a big prices
22s Jac as wanted the 4 places and billies were only 3 places
February 13, 2026 at 18:58 #1754499Yes I thought he had it won and then I saw the winner had sprouted wings..it was a brave effort and we did find the best of the Godolphin 4.
He did earn me 200 points in the Godolphin Fantasy competition as I had him down to run 2nd.Secret State was the first beaten in the 5.00. Quickly away he spent the rest of the race going backwards.

I did pick up another 2nd in the last Race…
Military Artist – 8/1
Who is worth keeping a close eye on.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 14, 2026 at 08:57 #1754565Hi Andre..
Sorry I didn’t realise you weren’t playing this time around.
I’m just keeping a tally of those of us who are but no TRF compy this time.Best of luck in the competitions today..I’m desperately looking for my 3rd 🐎 horse for 3 horses comp unbelievably difficult to find.
Jac xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 14, 2026 at 09:35 #1754572Just couple of small ew thieving
Holloway boy
Epic PoetGood luck if you play
February 14, 2026 at 09:47 #1754574I wish Hallasan had held on, I had him down for the winner
in the bonus competition. At least I did have Cavallo Bay
down for 3rd so at least I got 200 points there. I had
Indian Springs down for 6th but I was done out of that by
a neck.I had intended to have a couple of bets at Meydan, but as
often happens, life got in the way.I’m having a late look through todays races, but Ill
update if I see anything looks well worthy of a punt.Sorry about not updating my Godolphin compy Jac, I’ll make
a point of updating regularly. You shouldn’t have to hunt
through the lists to see where we all are.Points 3040
Position 283
Swaps left 3Good luck today everyone
February 14, 2026 at 11:42 #1754596Been going through the 4.10 and so much pace in race have thrown a few shillings each way on Ryan Moore ridden Survie ,hoping she can run past the pace setters EW 15/2
February 14, 2026 at 13:15 #1754658Good luck with your bets at Riyadh today Nick..
I wanted to play El Cordobes in the 1.15 at Doha but Paddy Power doesn’t seem to have any sign
of the meeting at all. I’ll just have to leave it today.
I like your Ryan Moore choice in the 4.10 and hope she comes home for you.

My Nap today is in the 2.00 at Lingfield…
Thecoffeepoddotco who was flying home to late at Wolverhampton last Saturday, a real eyecatcher. I hope she comes home in first place today.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 14, 2026 at 13:21 #1754659We were unlucky with Hallasan Graham, but I actually put him to place 2nd to the favourite in that race so also scored 200 points
and Nick and myself got a nice EW return from him. I had Cavallo Bay down for 4th place so near miss there..well done for scoring with him. After the additional 200 points my score is now…
3950 Points
Position – 77th
4 Swaps remainingI don’t think too many scored in that Bonus race Graham so we were lucky to get the extra points.
Will definitely will having a swap around next Friday if there are a few decent races as Nick predicted.
Best of luck today in the comps…Jac
xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 14, 2026 at 16:58 #1754769Very well done with nap Jac
Two places for me just Epic poet letting me down so no damage done.
Onto next Friday, have a great rest of the weekend
February 14, 2026 at 19:19 #1754784Well done Jac and Nick with a nice place on Hallasan

I backed my 3 in the pick 3 competition. I was bit unlucky with
my 1st pick, John Barbour who was beaten a nk at 13/2, on the
nose unfortunately.Better luck with my 2nd, Tashkhan, who finished 3rd at 20/1. What
gets me is, I took him a tad earlir when he was 33/1. I checked
and Bet365 (and others) were still offering 25/1 just before the
off. eg Bet365 were still offering 25/1 at 2.41. They returned
20/1. They get away with this too often. I was alright taking the
33/1 but a return of 20/1 is below the belt
My 3rd and nap choice was Deafening Silence in the 3.15 at Haydock.
This time I did back him e/w this time at 15/2. I thought he had got
3rd but he was a nse behind in 4th
All in all I’m ahead, I’ll settle for that and move to the golf
February 14, 2026 at 23:23 #1754794Thanks Nick and Graham…
I had a bigger than usual bet on Thecoffeepoddotco as I had seen her flying finish last saturday to gain 3rd place from virtually nowhere snd today she gave me my best win this year.. it’s been pretty abysmal up to here..I’ll have to swat up on golfers like our Graham.
Well done with your bets today Graham your turn to hit the bar today but at least you had EW returns on a couple of decent prices.

Did you see Quinault won at Doha and Lethal Levi was 3rd..I know you like them and it could sharpen them both up for our approaching flat season.
No luck for Godolphin and their 3 horses El Cordobes, Al Qadra and Pacific Pier but they did have a Winner at Lingfield with Into The Light at 11/4..I thought he would go off favourite and didn’t back him.

Nick you had a few EW pick ups at Riyadh..I couldn’t get any bets on there which was probably for the better.
Lovely to see Jonbon come home safely the winner today. What a lovely genuine horse he is.❤️
See you all at Meydan on Friday..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 15, 2026 at 09:47 #1754813Just watched your race Jac, Thecoffeepoddotco put that race to
bed in about 4 or 5 strides late on, it was never in doubt. She
looked impressive and I think there might be a race or 2 to come.
I’ve marked her on my horse tracker. Very well done Jac and as it
was a heavier bet that usual, I hope you made a killing
I was sifting through them before I went to sleep and I like one
in the Grand National Trial Handicap. It goes off today at 2.30
at Punchestown. I think Koori Star is just the type to take this.
He’s been running over distances that are too short for the horse
and as a result he is running off his lowest mark ever. All the big
guns are out, Elliot has 4 running Gavin Cromwell has 3 and Willie
Mullins has a couple too. Elliot seems to have a bit of a strangle
hold on this race having taken the last 4 but Peter Fahey won the
one before and it seems Fahey always targets this race and I think
he has managed to keep Koori Star under the radar and running off
116, carrying 10.11, I think he’s the one. I took the 8s about 1am,
I see he’s down to 11/2 now.2.30 Punchestown – Koori Star 8/1 Bet365
February 15, 2026 at 10:10 #1754817Good luck today BigG
Absolutely torrential rain down here today in Andoversford track (Cheltenham) will get a good dose of this
Hate this getting old had this poxy horrible cough and can’t shake the buggar off
February 15, 2026 at 15:38 #1754884Thanks Nick, although it wasn’t to be. He ran a good race and was going
well in 4th but just behind the leaders going to the last when the baloon
burst and he ran out of steam. Finished 7th. I’d love to be a fly on the
wall when the stewards ask for the reason for the supersonic improvement
in My Immortal. I like picking them out at big prices, but even after he
won, looking at his past races, I still wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.
Barry Connell has got a bit of explaining to do
Sorry to hear about the cough Nick, I know how problematic that is. I hope
they manage to find out why you have it, and more importantly I hope they
can do something about it. I wish you well Nick
February 16, 2026 at 07:51 #1754932Cheers BigG years ago would have just had it for a day couple of paracetamol and back sparring again
Nowadays can’t even get me socks on without swearing at them
February 16, 2026 at 20:04 #1754991Your socks and mine must be related Nick
