Bit of a headscratcher Nick especially as the horse that beat him Northern Champion was behind him at Newmarket last September in a Group 3 race won by Godolphin’s Distant Storm.
All I can say is that possibly he hasn’t progressed as well as the winner has but saying that it is very early days running at Meydan in January when he has only just become a 3yo..come April/May he could be a much better horse and the sunshine in Dubai will certainly bring him on.
I’d like to see them try him at 6f next time he seems keen to lead but seems to run out of steam quickly.
