What a drive by Potgieter. I don’t know how far it was, but
it’s massive. Ah ok it’s 370 yards. Ok, I’ll calm down and just give
the final result, or I’ll run out of ink
June 30, 2025 at 00:16 #1735195Woooohooooo, downs a 17ft putt on the par 3 5th play off hole.

Thrilled for you Graham!! Well Done
June 30, 2025 at 01:25 #1735199Thanks Andre, I’ve just got into bed but I’m still
pumped up so I’ll maybe read some of Keir Starmer’s
policy speeches, if there are any left that he hasn’t

June 30, 2025 at 16:30 #1735242Missed your comment in the heat of the golf Nathan, glad you
were enjoying it.I used to work with a guy who was a Celtic fanatic. So much so
that he couldn’t go to any of the matches, he had palpitations
and even fainted once. I have a bit more sympathy with him now
June 30, 2025 at 21:06 #1735257I be going to Sandown on Saturday for the
Coral Eclipse so very excited for it.Hope it not as hot as today here in London

June 30, 2025 at 23:25 #1735267Have a great day there Darren, I’ve never managed to get
down that far. I hope you get lucky mate
July 1, 2025 at 14:59 #1735281T’ve probably missed the boat, in as far as Ziggy’s Missile, who is on my
horse tracker, won last time out at over C/D and I missed him, albeit he
was only 7/2. He runs in the 18.30 pm at Chelmsford and is best priced 9/2 with several bookies. I’d hate to
miss him a 2nd time. The RP account of the race says he won it easily. I’d
say he had to battle all the way to the line. He’s moved up a grade and
he’s raised 4lbs so this will be harder but at 4yrs he might just progress
that bit further. He’s no gimmie, but I’ve taken the 6.2 and 6.1 on the exchange
(just over 5/1)18.30 Chelmsford – Ziggy’s Missile 6.2 on Exchange

Brilliant Graham
Well done, your excitement is very catching…keep putting in more of the same.
Darren have a great time at Sandown on Saturday..know how excited you get about going there just like me at Newmarket.
Will be on holiday for 5 days from Sunday we are off to Snowdonia staying in Caernarfon for 4 nights right near the Castle 🏰. We are going up Snowdonia on the train on Monday and on Tuesday and going to Portmeirion, home of The Prisoner, if you’re old enough to remember that.
On Wednesday we are crossing the bridge to Anglesey and taking a boat trip around Puffin Island..it is peak breeding season so hoping to see one or two little Puffins.Really looking forward to this as we haven’t had a break for 2 years now since Dave was ill, he is in good spirits and looking forward to our trip. Weather a bit iffy in North Wales but I wouldn’t want it as hot as it was here yesterday touching 35° even at 7.00pm it was 31°

Good luck in all the comps on Saturday, We have family round before we go away so will have to get my picks in early.
Take care all and enjoy watching all the Golf, Wimbledon, Boxing and especially the racing..Jac x
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 2, 2025 at 10:20 #1735322have a great break Jac and take the sun cream (me advising that is bound to bring the rain) x
July 2, 2025 at 13:20 #1735325Have a great time Trip also will you be back before Newmarket July meeting next week
July 2, 2025 at 13:29 #1735327Darren see you selection for the Falmouth , been going through it and there are so many question marks against the runners apart from Desert Flower, shame am not an AP punter I would have joined you. Have a great Saturday at Sandown mate and back plenty of winners
July 2, 2025 at 21:29 #1735344Thanks Nick and Darren
…
I don’t think sun cream is going to be necessary looking at the 10 day weather forecast for Caernarfon more like pac-a-macs and brollys, but hoping that elusive sunshine will make an appearance at some point. 🌤Yes Darren I’m back for the July Meeting, we travel home Thursday so I’ll be watching The Falmouth on Friday at home and be all excited about going there for the July Cup on Saturday.

Like you I will be backing Desert Flower in the Falmouth. She handles the track so well and 1m4f was too far for her in The Oaks. Back at a mile I think she will win this

I hope Charlie Appleby doesn’t run Cinderella’s Dream against Desert Flower on Friday but if so which one would Will Buick choose to ride?
I think he will choose Desert Flower..this is why…1. She is unbeaten at Newmarket on both the Rowley Mile and July Course and goes on virtually any going.

2. She has won the 1000 Guineas where on the same day Cinderella’s Dream won The Dahlia Stakes beating Elmalka.

3. She handles both tracks superbly.

If you haven’t guessed already I really rate this filly..lol 😅🤣
Enjoy Sandown on Saturday Darren and good luck with your Falmouth bets also to Nick and Graham and s6ll having a bet.
Jac xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 3, 2025 at 13:57 #1735362Have a wonderful holiday Jac!! You & Dave need a nice getaway. Maybe you can even post a few pictures for us. Good planning that you’ll be back in time for Newmarket and the July Cup!

Have a great time at Sandown Darren. It should be a lovely day of racing.
Good Luck with comp picks and any bets!
Take Care All
July 3, 2025 at 21:26 #1735388Thanks Andre will do..
Busy getting my case together working out what we’ll need for each day..I think I’ve forgotten how to pack it’s been so long..lol 🤣😅Will try and get my picks in for The Daylight compy early tomorrow evening and best of luck Andre in our Daylight team Group 6..we are all very close so anyone can qualify.
Jac xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 4, 2025 at 01:27 #1735396Anyone know why my last message was reported as inappropriate content when all I was doing being nice makes no sense.
Nwalton I got a feeling Desert Flower be a NR.
Euroallen I have a nice time at Sandown and weather looks nice to.
July 5, 2025 at 17:07 #1735575Don’t worry Darren the message reporting has happened to me several times over the years..in fact I probably reported myself..lol
You or anyone scrolling through messages can accidentally hit on the Report button as it is so near the ‘Reply’ button. I wish Admin would move it further over to the right to be safe.I hope Desert Flower does run but if not Cinderella’s Dream will take all the beating..
My compy horses all ran dreadfully today and I managed to scrape up just 8 points in the Daylight Comp which will probably see me off
Anyway looking forward to my holiday and not so much pressure for July Cup Saturday.Take care everyone … and oh yes cheer on
Shadow Of Light in the Jean Prat for me tomorrow.
