Brilliant Graham well done with your golf bet :yahoo: and as you said thank goodness for Golf. Also lovely pick with Hateem, what a great servant he is. :rose:

My Royal Ascot experience after 2 days has been a nightmare and Paddy Power are having a field day with my account. I really hope I can get one or two home today .. I’ve gone for 25/1 shot Dubai Future in the Gold Cup for the Ascot Compy and of course I will be backing both himself and Trawlerman. :good:

Well done Andre for being top of the Leaderboard after Day 2 that is some achievement now you MUST stay there. :good:

Enjoy the beautuful weather and the racing today and fingers crossed for our selections..Jac x :bye:

PS. Graham..as Nathan says no need for proof that you won big on the Golf or any bets we 100% believe you. :good: :good: :good:

Thanks Jac, I know you and the Meydan team know me well enough,
it’s just in case anyone who is looking in thinks “that sounds
    a bit dicey

Good luck today, I know you’re bound to hit them for 6 in one
of the days and put yourself back in the big picture :good:

How difficult could it be for Godolphin to send out emails for the competition – alerting us of runners and of points won…….. surely it’s not rocket science?? (Didn’t they used to do the email thing?) Rant Over!!

Thursday was a tough day in the Ascot Comp for me…. hopefully I can bounce back today. This comp is a marathon for sure! Just noticed I have a couple of non-runners today – need to fix that before the first race.

Hopefully we’ll all have a good day today!!

Good luck to everyone today last day of Ascot and come on Andre you are our Favourite to take the Crown. 👑

Hoping to kick off with the first two winners ..

    2.30 – Treanmor
    3.05 – REBEL’S ROMANCE *NAP*

It’s been a brutal week for me and could do with a winner.

Not going to Newmarket today as a very poor card and it’s my son Chris’s birthday and we have a Chinese booked for early evening…also very hot and I would need someone walking by my side.
waving a palm leaf all day. 🌴

Enjoy the boxing Nick..very wise to stay home with the fan on high. :good: Jac

Thanks Jac! It’s been a tough week at Ascot and I’m surprised I’m still in with a chance. It would be nice if my nap of the day won, as I’ve not had a winning nap all week. I’ve gone for Inisherin in the 3:40 for my nap. I think he has a good chance on the form. I noticed there’s been a lot of money this morning for the Japanese runner Satono Reve backed from 9/2 in to 9/4F, so that has me a little anxious!!

I’ve gone against the two Godolphin runners (Treanmor & Rebels Romance) in the Ascot Comp, so they will probably storm home for you Jac!

Good Luck to everyone with all the comps going on and any bets!

Temps here are going to be in the mid 90s for the next week, which is around 35C. Much too hot to be doing anything outside!

Happy Birthday to your son Chris, Jac. I hope you enjoy your Chinese later today. My kids are coming to visit tomorrow (a belated Fathers Day visit) – I plan on grilling, but that’s about all I’ll be doing outside.

    Take Care Everyone!!

I’ve been nowhere this week, but my trip to Mr Guhan (Chest Specialist)
hopefully has done the trick and I might have the energy to study them.
This last year, I’ve been nowhere with the competitions, but I have pneumonia.
How come it takes a specialist to identify what was bloody obvious on the X-rays,
never mind the CT Scan, where it was just as obvious, and God knows how long I’ve
    had it

On a happier note, as Andre said, happy birthday Jac to your
    son Chris :good:

Another day of poor selections (so far) for me – any chance of making the podium in the Ascot Comp are gone for another year.

Oh gosh Graham – sorry to hear about your latest woes. How the medical “experts” missed your pneumonia for so long, is beyond me. Hopefully now they’ve figured it out, they can get you back to full health.

Thanks Andre, I was shocked, it was so obvious when Mr Guhan
pointed it out to me. There are some doctors seriously lacking
    in basic skills.

Graham…it really makes you wonder what planet some of these doctors are on, really hope things start to improve now you are on the right course of treatment. :rose:

Tough week at Ascot but l really enjoyed the racing and we saw some terrific horses from home and away. I particularly loved the Norwegian horse War Socks who ran such a brave race today in the Golden Gates Stakes..he was 6th in the end but was up the firing end for a bit near the finish.

Andre it was a very tricky day today but Rebel’s Romance nade my day along with a certain ex Godolphin filly who won the last race at Newmarket for me – Scattering Light at 6/1.
So sorry you didn’t make the Podium this year Andre but your tipping through the week was very consistent.. :good:

I expect we have all earned Godolphin points in the comp. I will post up the Leaderboard tomorrow :good:

Thanks for your good wishes for Chris on his birthday 🎂 we enjoyed our Chinese and tomorrow he’s bringing Wilson round for an early morning walk before it gets too hot. We have a lot of trees in the garden and Wilson goes mad as he can smell all the rabbits that kindly dig holes overnight and scarper off as soon as you open the back door..🤪😀 they’re not too impressed with the size of him either..so stay away for a few hours until he goes home..
    Jac  x

Cheers Jac, as you say it makes you wonder. I reckon for about the
past year I’ve completely lost my way in the racing world. I didn’t
have the energy to study and it’s the one thing I’ve always been
good at, even when I’m wrong. I hope I get my strength back and
hopefully my ability to study, my head is just mixed up and my
memory, or lack of, was starting to scare me. Whether I get it
back or not time will tell.

Some nice ones you picked out today Jac :good: Catherine Andre
and Green all had a good run at it, both consistant and barring
your last day’s score Andre you looked like you were going to hit
the top 3. Catherine and Green were consistant throught so it’s
nice to see some Meydan peeps showing a bit of form. :good:
Sorry I wasn’t up there with you.

Obviously I have to give the plaudits to Chestnut Gladiateur and
Mickey, that was the toughest Ascot I can remember.

Keeping you in my thoughts Graham. I hope you get your health turned around mate. :good: Stay strong my friend. :rose:

In the Godolphin comp I have 5,100 pts with a 286 OR. Not sure where my points came from as I get no emails from Godolphin. Does anyone get update emails from them, or have they stopped sending them?

The Ascot comp was fun and what a close finish between Chestnut and Gladiator. My selections on both Wednesday and Saturday let me down. Glad you found a couple of winners yesterday Jac!

Have fun with Wilson today. Give him a few pets from me! He’s such a good boy.

Graham take it easy and do what you are able too and get plenty of rest. No need to worry about the horses, this past 3 or 4 weeks I’ve been fuelling the coffers of Paddy Power and I even managed to reach my £100 a week betting safety limit so couldn’t bet until tomorrow (23rd) with them. However, luckily I had an emergency account with £50 in it with Skybet so I used that yesterday and had two nice wins with Rebel’s Romance and Scattering Light 6/1 at Newmarket..hurray :yahoo: It does show how difficult it has been to sort out winners though and my Ascot score was abismal I hit the bar so many times with my reserves dotting up.

I think the winners of the Ascot competition did incredibly well and especially yourself Andre, to lead for the 3 days that you did was a great performance. :good:
I just noticed we are in the same Group 7 in the Daylight Comp and it’s quite a competitive little Group so fingers crossed one of us makes it through, I can’t see myself getting a 3rd win this year as some pretty shrewd punters have joined TRF recently and I’m certainly not in their League.

Thanks for your Godolphin score Andre and yes they are actually sending me emails when I earn points, I think an email to head Office would be appropriate.

Hope you got some more points in the Godolphin competition Graham. I’m now
    on…..

    6120 – 175th

I hope John is reading this and has also gained some points. Look forward to hearing from you John and hope all is well. :rose:

Have to go as Wilson has just arrived along with his pets..back later with the Godolphin scoreboard.. Jac x
