BigG see the Golf mate got to feel for
FleetwoodJune 23, 2025 at 16:04 #1734498Thanks Jac, I had just looked up my points and was going to
update your board. Pretty appalling but I think I had a late
start, I think
June 23, 2025 at 22:45 #1734516Your ok Graham plenty of time..Ive already used 3 of my swaps and 1 of those I wasted trying to back horses over the water that I had hardly heard of apart from Sovereignty.

I do still have 3 swaps left as we were given an extra swap because Godolphin messed up on the start date of the competition.

Well done with your e/w shout on Young in 4th place, that’s
a big shout at 150/1
June 24, 2025 at 19:16 #1734551Wow 150/1 EW and a 4th place that’s brilliant Darren. 👏
How do you two do it.

for longer than me, he’s the master
June 26, 2025 at 07:24 #1734668You certainly both know how to spot a good’un
and talking of which I’m off to Newmarket this afternoon where the card looks pretty decent. Will Buick and Ryan Moore both there today and I’m probably going to start off with the Godolphin horses in races 1 and 2
1.50 – Beckfords Folly
2.25 – Heart Of Eternity
…and then go for a couple of course specialists in the
3.00 in Dashing Dick & Spring Bloom
Haven’t really looked beyond that yet but looking forward to seeing them all in the paddock and making a final decision.
Will report back on any eye-catchers.Best of luck if you are having a bet today.

June 26, 2025 at 11:14 #1734681Good luck this afternoon Jac, I’ll keep my eyes peeled in case
you spot a goodun
June 26, 2025 at 17:22 #1734696I’m in a bit of a quandry here. As I put in Darren’s golf page
earlier today, I had Andrew Putnam at 200/1 to be the leader
in the 1st round of the Rocket Classic. He’s finished his round
at 8 under tied with Min Woo Lee who has one hole to play. I’m
getting offered over £500 with half the field to …..sh*t,
min woo lee just rolled in a a 30 ft putt to finish on 9 under.
My £500+ is now £89 for my tenner e/w. It’s 1/4 the odds 5 places.
He’s 2nd outright so I’m going to hang on and hope he stays in
the top 5. That’s still £500 so it’s death or glory
Am I allowed to swear at Min Woo Lee or is that racist ?,
ah feck it
June 26, 2025 at 17:35 #1734699At least I still have a tenner E/w on him to win outright at 150/1
so it might all work out yet, I hope
June 26, 2025 at 18:37 #1734701Wow Jac, that would be a nice E/w treble. Beckford’s Folly, 3/1 winner,
Heart Of Eternity 3rd at 13/8 and Dashing Dick 3rd at 12/1. I hope you
were in the money Jac
June 26, 2025 at 19:27 #1734705This is turning into a very strange day. I put up 2 golfers
in Darren’s thread for the Rocket Classic, Andrew Putnam I’ve
alraedy spoken about and he’s still 2nd on his own. My 2nd pick
was Aldrich Potgieter, a young guy, 20 years old, who can hit the
ball further than Rory, that’s some feat. I wasn’t concentrating
on him, just keeping an eye for Putnam but I see after 7 holes he’s
4 under and on the massive 578 yards par 5, he’s just whacked his
2nd shot to 10ft from the hole. He was 100/1 the win and 80/1 the
1st round leader. Holy cow he’s just holed his put for an eagle and
is 6 under par having played 8 holes. Who would have thunk it
June 26, 2025 at 19:37 #1734706Im in the middle of a weird dream, in the time it took me to write
up my last post, he’s only gone and birdied his 9th hole. He’s 7 under
after 9 holes
June 26, 2025 at 19:56 #1734712Ok I know I’m boring the pants off everyone in here, but my adrenaline
is on full wash spin at the moment. He drove it 326 yards straight into
the thick stuff. I thought well that’s it, he’ll collapse after that. He’s
smashed it out of the thick stuff to be 10in off the hole, it’s another
birdie. That’s 8 under par after 10 holes, can he keep this up? I’ve no
idea. The offer is £553.72 and he’s joint 2nd. Fetch me some valium someone
June 26, 2025 at 20:25 #1734717Good Evening to everyone I have just got round to reading today’s
posts and I have seen BigG’s post about Andrew Putnam. He has now
finished his round with a 64 that’s 8 under par and he is Joint 2nd.
Min Woo Lee is the leader in the clubhouse at the moment with a 63
9 under par.It is a nice position to be in For BigG and although I would not want
to influence him I think that at this stage I would take the offer
if it is still available.
Will try and come back later on with another post
Many Thanks
John
June 26, 2025 at 21:02 #1734722Hi again – Just seen the latest PGA Tour leader board and
Aldrich Potgieter is now 8 under par and Joint second after
13 holes. So BigG now has got 2 Players right in the mix.
A really good position to be in and although has I said before
I would not want to influence his decision I would want to
take some profit if it is still available.
Many Thanks again
John
